Seriously, after that injury, how bad does it suck to watch this season, of all seasons, from the dugout? And for him to push, and work hard enough to make this happen....hell yeah, that's just freaking awesome.
Omg....do you think that Theo, Jed and Joe have thought of this? I'm saying temper your expectations. Screw that. Fans should expect the wonderful and the amazing. Tempering expectations sucks.
So I forget whether it was Baseball Tonight or MLB Tonight that commented last night how the Cubs have struggled against left handed pitching. Then I'm reading a Dayn Perry article on CBSSports where he lists one of the reasons for his Indians pick is that the Cubs don't do as well vs right handed pitching. http://www.cbssports.com/mlb/news/cubs-indians-world-series-pick-defending-my-not-so-popular-indians-prediction/ Perry at least uses some numbers, but they don't really struggle against either, specifically.
ESPN Expert PIcks: http://www.espn.com/mlb/story/_/id/17874081/espn-experts-make-their-world-series-picks-chicago-cubs-cleveland-indians Nobody with the guts to predict a sweep....
Have they said he's batting 2nd? Didn't Schwarber make his MLB debut at Cleveland? Everything that is being reported is "sources", and I think one report (Heyman?) mentioned him batting 2nd. However, the team has made no announcement that he'll be on the roster, much less what spot in the batting order he'll be in. Rosters are due at 10:00 I believe. Yes, Schwarber debuted vs Cleveland.
