  1. No WGN for me...but I have the gamecast on.
  2. Any NSBB'ers in here??? :D http://chicagosports.chicagotribune.com/media/photo/2005-01/15954863.jpg
  3. I'm totally not surprised by this.
  4. Looks like they got things back in order 88-75 with roughly 7 min to play.
  5. Sportsline is working...29-25 Bulls with 7min left in 2nd.
  6. Well ESPN doesn't seem to want to update past 20-12....can I get some updates please? :D
  7. Imagine how good they could be if they'd knock that stuff off....
  8. He has double digit rebounds already? 12pts 10reb 8assists
  9. I was just gonna say that where they had that shot shown on ESPN.com looked WAY downtown.
  10. All the online updates appear to be frozen at 43-48. EDIT: Doh...Halftime.
  11. Yep...they sure are. So we should be aiming for the 6th seed then???
  12. which begs the question: will there ever be a division title winner to not make the playoffs? Don't division title winners automatically make the playoffs? or is it strictly the best 8 records in the conference?
  13. If the playoffs started today, the Bulls would be the #8 seed in the playoffs. If the Bulls were in the Atlantic division, they would be contending for a Division Title!
  14. It's been a long time since I've been able to be excited about this team. Go Bulls!
  15. I just haven't been able to get excited over the Bulls since the Jordan days. I know that's unfair, but it's true.
  16. Because of the frequency that this question seems to be asked, I'm going to put it in the FAQ section. Perhaps a list of common acronyms would be a good idea for reference?
  17. Grieve was an AllStar in '98. He put up solid numbers in Oakland and TB, before losing his mind a few years ago. Dont know if he had an injury or such, but clearly a drop from 25 HRs on Average to 10 is not good. I just hope he wasnt in the Spinach juice. So by your theory Dubois is similar to the 98 Grieve, or the 04 Grieve? Just wanna know so when I give you grief about this prediction later next season, I'm using the right material...
  18. And why would they trade Kazmir? :P The Mets have to play to a fickle audience. I don't think Matsui is very popular with the fans there after his performance this year. Maybe they feel if they can get a player the caliber of Sammy for him, that it's a good deal? I just totally made that up.
  19. Funniest thing I ever read. I knew Hendry would NOT do that deal.
  20. Many jokes have been made (at least on this board) about Baker's "clogging the bases" theory on walks, yet one of the main pitching woes that the Cubs have experienced early on this season is getting beat with walks. In the last few games, it seems like there has been a definite trend toward working the count, and it seems to have paid off. Was Baker just defending his "free-swinging" guys, or do you think he genuinely believes that walks are bad?
  21. Many Cubs fans (at least on this board) view LF as an area that needs upgrading. Does the Cubs organization feel this way? Is Carlos Beltran a possible future Cub?
  22. Birds on the Bat is a Cardinal Forum, and Astros Daily has an Astros forum as well. Neither are as frequently posted to as any Cubs message board though...
