For those keeping score at home, here are the reasons each Cub sucks: Wood = Brittle Prior = Soft Zambrano = Emotional Rusch = Sucky Maddux = Old/tires easily Lee = Not Clutch Neifi = well...he actually does suck Walker = Big Mouth Aram = aches and pains Cedeno = Rookie mistakes Barrett = Worst. Defensive. Catcher. Ever. Murton = Hair is too red (ok I made that up) Not enough power Pierre = Low OBP Jones = Can't hit How we've won a game is beyond me.

Have you seen the lineup? Yes, this lineup is going to struggle enough to score without giving away outs for free with the leading hitter on the team. I'll agree that we bunted with the wrong guy. Just saying we aren't going to outslug these guys with this lineup.

That means Marshall, Williams and Rusch are our starters this weekend. Umm...let's get some runs! Just the same, if Dusty is having heart to hearts, he's also having some doubts. I'd say Rusch probably has a short leash.

Because it's a lefty pitcher and Hairston needs some starts. He's only gotten 1 start so far and that was yesterday. I have no problem with giving Hairston the starts. I do when you don't have Ramirez, Barrett or Jones in the lineup. Walker gives you some needed power.

Brian Mcann How do you figure? I don't really. Maybe in a year or two if Salty doesn't take his job. how many runs did Paul knock in today? Yep but Michael can't catch anyday. Will he always knock in 3? I'm not watching, so I don't know what your gripe is, but will there be a short hop play at the plate every day? Barrett is a good hitter, but how many games has he just killed us? Like with the play at Philadelphia when he threw to third when he could have reached out to tag Rollins. I would trade Barrett for a number of catchers straight up. Name some.

That's harsh, would you rather have Piazza? 5 years ago Piazza yes, now no. If you're referring to the relay throw, that was a really tough short-hop. I just watched Bako make the same play look easy for the Royals. Bako is a defensive catcher. You wouldn't have won 2 of the games against the Cards this weekend with Bako.
