    I heard Skiles say before Game 1 that he was happy with the officiating. But I am a little tired of seeing Shaq putting his head down and just running through anyone. That isn't basketball. He got called for a fair amount of offensive fouls for that kind of stuff in the first game though. Also a couple traveling and 3 sec violations if I recall correctly.

    Walker has hit Willis before. I think he stays in. Jones probably earned another start with his HR. Tomorrow, I think you may see Restovich in there in RF. Dusty does have a penchant for giving ppl a rest right after a big day though. :P

    There's another one that wasn't bad....I can't remember the whole thing but it ended something like "let's get ready to go on seven-two-oh, double-uuuu...geeeeee..eeennnnnnn, that's right, W-G-N!" I remember not totally hating that one.

    Very mysterious. Speculation on the Mets.com board is that this is just rehashing the Wright-Willis rumor, but who knows.

    I think you need the whole season to put that "potential trade" in focus. What if Tejada or Bedard have a Derek Lee type injury? They certainly will have off days or slumps throughout the season. And Prior is due back in another few weeks. At least give it till the All-Star break (if not the postseason) before we start delving too deeply into this.

    Deng didn't play very much, and Skiles admitted that he probably should have had Deng in more. I'd expect him to be more of an impact tonight.

    It seems like Murton is a little streaky. I think he'll be fine and will drive in plenty as the season goes on.
