  1. Moose needs to call up Kenny Rogers and borrow some pinetar.
  2. If he can't handle the media, he can't handle the media. It takes a different skill set to play on the field. I realize the skills are independant of one another. It's not a greatly rational argument, it's just one of those "reaction" kind of thoughts.
  3. Johnny Unitas, Bart Starr, and Joe Montana were all total dorks. Leave the thread... :D I kid, I kid. It's just the impression I get. I could be way off base.
  4. You know, part of what scares me a little about Rex is that he seems unsure of himself in interviews. I know that's a silly reason, but if he can't be comfortable in an interview, how is he going to be comfortable in a big game? Yes, he's young, but look at a guy like Philip Rivers who's so natural in an interview.... Anyway, it's just a thought.
  5. Oh c'mon, man. The guy comes in here and starts trashing the Bears, kicking dirt in our faces while we are down, and you tell us to back off? The only thing we are doing is challenging him on his backwards a** arguments. He knew he was in for it when he posted it. If he didn't like the response he shouldn't have come in here spouting off. If that's all that was happening, fine. I wouldn't have said a thing. When people start telling him to leave the thread...that's out of line. And frankly, if an argument in a game thread, Cubs, Bears, or otherwise, begins to get out of control and dominate the thread, I'm going to put an end to it. If you want to start a seperate thread about Carolina's worthiness, and it stays within the board rules, fine. No problem.
  6. DING DING DING. We have a winner! That wasn't supposed to be congratulatory. Thank you for scoring a TD Bears. If it's not worth the hassle, then why bother? You're gonna come in here, when the Bears are losing, say something degrading them, and expect us not to jump on you? Seriously, please explain to me your logic in posting that? I'm all ears. Banedon said the argument's over, so I'm gonna comply. Thank you.
  7. Enough. Anyone is allowed to post in the Bears thread, even if you don't agree. No one needs to leave the thread. Talk to a mod if you think someone is trolling. But ndistops, you also have to expect a certain amount of grief in a Bears thread if you're making comments about them...but it's gone on long enough. Everyone: LET THE TOPIC DROP.
  8. Ok guys...end the argument. Everyone has made their point. Enough. This goes for everyone.
  9. BRADLEY! YES YES YES YES YES!!!
  10. I'd actually like to see them try a deep ball...what the hell at this point.
  11. Um...because the Bears would have the ball?
  12. I believe there something appropriate to say about a squirrel and a nut....
  13. Gah! Come on Tillman...hold on to it...
  14. Well that's the first time I've seen the special teams give up a big run back....that sucks.
  15. Sure you can its called the shotgun. and i dont mean that in the football sense. You win. :)
  16. Griese would be doing nothing tonight too. Grossman has no running game to take the pressure off, and the receivers aren't getting open. Yes, he's trying to make things happen that aren't there...but that's because he has to. I'm not a big Grossman fan at this point, but lets be fair. Okay, but let's face it, we're not going to win with Grossman in there tonight. What does it hurt to put Griese in? Rearranging deck chairs on the Titanic? No thanks. Okay, well when Rex fumbles two more times and throws three more picks, we'll see how you feel then. Fine. But then Rex will have earned being replaced. I don't think he's done anything to get replaced yet. Not tonight anyway. I think the way he played against AZ, Miami, and so far tonight is reason enough for a mix-up. I do want it to be known however that I'm not completely blaming Rex, the o-line and run games have been pitiful as well. Unfortunately, you can't replace an entire o-line. Maybe not...but if replacing the QB doesn't help, why do it? Griese can't block for himself. I don't understand the idea of change for the sake of change. It doesn't work for me.
