It's very clear from the sports media articles/podcasts/videos/etc this morning that everybody was ready to publish Cubs postmortems and Dodgers fluff pieces today, and decided to publish them this morning with only slight wording changes.
I'd be extremely surprised. He definitely has his offensive struggles, but with an infield of Bryant-Russell-Baez-Rizzo, you have probably one of the best, and youngest defensive infields in the majors. If one of our young players gets traded, Schwarber seems like he'd be more likely.
Yeah, W. Davis is probably unavailable and honestly he didn't even look that sharp last night. I think Q needs to go at least 7 innings tonight, and then we're probably going to need to use him in relief again if we get to a game 7. [tweet]

I'm already kinda perplexed at the weirdos sobbing over this bearded miscreant getting his ass gone. We got the best of him...now I'm happy to send him on his way.
....this might be the last cubs game for the next 6 months and most certainly the last time you'll see Jake arrieta pitch as a cub. If it's the last game, that means they lost...and I've watched enough of that over the last 4 days.
Gonna be honest...I'm gonna record this on the dvr and watch other stuff...checking the score on my phone, and then flipping to the recording if something good happens.
FWIW, McCullough and Dylan Hernandez of the LA Times both say in the video that they think the chances are pretty low that they Dodgers will be able to do that. http://www.latimes.com/sports/dodgers/la-sp-dodgers-nlcs-roster-20171014-story.html
I listened to the Score yesterday for the first time in like, forever. And they were interviewing this guy, and he just really doesn't think Maddon is any good tactically. He basically thinks that Maddon makes awful decisions that work out, and that Dave Roberts out managed him last year. Spiegel and Parkins were definitely getting on him about this opinion, even though Parkins and Mccullough are long time buddies.
Man, you're splitting an awfully fine hair here. That play was a big part of the reason they lost that game. Sure, it was one of about 5 different big, awful moments for the Nats last night, but freak play or not, it can't be dismissed.
