    Was just coming here to post this. That's amazing. Love it. I wonder if he said the same thing to Cutler. When Jay was asked what Favre said to him on ESPN after the game, he smiled and said that he thought Brett was still out of it from the concussion. I bet he just didn't want to out him on national TV.

    I think a lot of my concern came from the fact that I didn't think Cutler would make it through the season as bad as the line was expected to be. I'm fairly surprised they've come out as well as they have. The 2 early wins against the Packers and Cowboys were a bit surprising. Any and all concern was completely justified. This team could have fallen apart. But the ability to win a lot of games was always there and that is why I don't get people acting shocked that the Bears have 10 wins and already clinched. I was more optimistic before the season started. Once I saw the OLine in action I had visions of 4-12. So happy I was way off. The only bad part about this great season is that Lovie will get a new contract.

    The first Forte call was a blatant helmet to helmet hit. Not sure how you can complain about that one at all. The second Forte call was more of a judgement call. But I don't think he ever really got completely stopped there. I can see that one as more of a complaint, but it should be looked at completely independently from the previous call which was about leading with the helmet as opposed to piling on a stopped runner. The first one wouldn't have been called if his forward progress hadn't been stopped. That's the problem. They ruled Forte was defenseless and that was why he got the protection of the helmet to helmet rules. Either that call was wrong (because forward progress had not been stopped) or the second call was wrong. On that first play, Forte was being held stationary for a decent length of time by around 4-5 guys. The helmet to helmet is a point of emphasis right now, so it's going to get called more often than not in those situations. There were never that many on him on the second play. I don't think he ever got completely stopped on that play, either. But I think this was much more of a judgement call. On Favre's last play, he fumbled the ball but the ref blew the whistle way too quickly.

    The jerseys arrived. Well, most of them did. The 2 Mitchell & Ness throwbacks I ordered didn't show up. The company said they were out of stock and will give me a refund for those. The ones that showed up looked perfect. The Urlacher jersey has the captain patch and all of the jerseys have the NFL equipment patch on the neck & banded sleeves, too. They even have the authentic Reebook tags on them with the hologram.

    We need to keep pace with the Eagles. As long as we both win our divisions and finish tied in the standings, we get the bye due to the head-to-head win.
