  1. A real QB would have done it.
  2. Angelo signed Thomas Jones too, right? He also traded him for what, a 5th round draft choice? Well fine, but the discussion is about Angelo and his free agent signings. The point being that he's signed some good FA's in seasons past. It says he "plays the FA/Trade market about as well as any other GM."
  3. :good:

  5. Way to be on top of the breaking news. :good: Clearly I didn't read two pages back. Sorry, didn't realize your post was that important to you. It does. We should have IRL fisticuffs at the Hooters on William D. Tate in Grapevine to settle the matter. Bone Daddy's! Better yet, let's each pick a waitress and have them jello wrestle to determine a winner.

  8. Like when Cutler was sitting next to him on the bench, playbook in hand pointing things out? I never saw that. Not saying it didn't happen, but when they had a long shot of Hanie staring at Polaroids on the bench, Cutler was right next to staring into space like he had another concussion. And I remember hearing them say he was questionable to return. If the Bears are releasing that info, then they need to change their procedures for that. That only helps fuel the fire that he is quitting on the team. You shouldn't change your policy on injuries based on how stupid [expletive] are going to react. I think it's a dumb policy if they are saying he is questionable to return if there is no chance of him playing again. Do they think the opposing team has someone watching the TV broadcast and reporting to the sidelines what the announcers are saying? And even if you believe that, does it somehow give the other team an advantage?
  9. Good, I'm glad to hear that. That's exactly what I wanted to hear.

That only helps fuel the fire that he is quitting on the team. They always say the return is questionable. No they don't.

  12. Better trademark it now and register the domain name.
  13. How about definitely?
  14. I don't give a [expletive] about rah rah. But it would have been nice to see him talking to Hanie on the sidelines like he was trying to help him out there. Maybe he was doing it and we just didn't see it. All I know is we better get a lot better on the OLine next season.
  15. Sun-Times reporting a torn MCL for Cutler. Not sure of the severity.
  16. After Green and Jones, I'm not sure there's much in the way of immediate impact guys in the draft. Jon Baldwin probably won't fall and I'm not enamored with a lot of the others. If you're looking for a WR to come in and produce immediately, FA is probably the better way to go. It was supposed to be very deep at WR this year, but several very good underclassmen have decided to return to school for whatever reason.
  17. Does Disney World really want Ben Roethlisberger to come at all? That college chick didn't want him to, but that sure didn't stop him.
  18. I am anxiously awaiting the injury report on Cutler. I want to know exactly what is wrong with his knee.
  19. ACIE LAW, YOU DUMB [expletive]. NOT ACIE EARL. :banghead:
  20. What an impressive comeback by the horns. I hope KU can pull this one out. K-State goes down again. Apparently the A&M students were chanting "NIT" at Pullen at the end of the game.
  21. It is. FOX gets to pick the singer. Brutal. That has been changed. The Idol guy has been moved to halftime and Cornelison will sing the National Anthem again. :good:
  22. Being a Big XII guy, I immediately thought Beasley when we won the lottery. I was a little disappointed at all the Rose talk at first, but the more I looked into the situation the more I was on board with the decision to go with Derrick. Now it's hard to imagine thinking of taking anyone but him with that pick.
  23. Surprised no one has responded with "I'm in because he's not Sandberg."
  24. That's because Martz was a stubborn fool in several games throwing the ball way too much.
