  1. I know what my idiot friend saw. They must have replayed the Hee Seop Choi collision when the Yankees were last at Wrigley.
  2. Did Carlos Pena really get carted off in an ambulance? Just got that in a text.
  3. Don't let the lack of a national seed fool you. Most experts thought we deserved one. We lost our ace right before the Big 12 tournament, but we have 2 other very good pitchers (starters) left on our staff. When we are hitting well, we are damn tought to beat. Our problem has been inconsistent bats. We've been hitting pretty well lately, though. I look forward to the game Sunday night.
  4. Has this been posted already? http://img2.ranker.com/user_node_img/6397/1000131024/full/jordan-and-pippen-s-thoughts-photo-u1.jpg
  5. OK, that makes more sense.
  6. How long did those maniacs riot? It is daylight in a bunch of those pictures. Was it still light out when the game ended?
  7. I guess rioting turns some hosers on. http://rodryan.thebuzz.com/cc-common/gallery/thumb.php?src=/export/home/cc-common/mlib/4761/06/4761_13082266644.jpg&wmax=600&hmax=450&quality=80
  8. Stay classy, Vancouver.
  9. Maybe he should hang out with Geo more often.
  10. Hey curious what you (or anyone else) think about Matt Juengel's pro prospects. I think the consensus is that he has the bat to go far, but he has no defensive position. He's been tried a few places with poor results. If he can figure out a place to not kill his team on the field he may be a big leaguer some day.
  11. You must be fun to hang out with. Unlike those cut-ups over in the Peoria marketing department. They seem to be pretty good at what they do, whether or not you approve. So's Lebron James. You must be fun to hang out with.
  12. http://www.baseball-reference.com/leagues/MLB/2011-starter-pitching.shtml Not sure about 110+ but Cubs starters have thrown over 100 pitches 31 times this year which ranks 119th in the majors. The two at 120+ is tied for eighth in the majors and the single game max of 128 is tied for fourth in the majors. I know I haven't been paying much attention to baseball this year, but when did the league expand to 120 teams?

  15. I hate that I'm beginning to actually like Cuban. And LOL @ the Peoria Chiefs.
  16. Well he's a product of the Dallas public school system, so the answers to your questions are probably no and yes (with a giant X) in that order.
  17. He's a helluva pitcher when healthy.
  18. Yeah. A Cal upset of Virginia in game 1 would be nice, assuming we beat South Carolina.
  19. My Aggies are back in Omaha for the first time since 1999. It's been way too long.
  20. D'oh! I'm a dumbass. :(
  21. Boston fans are not just the 35,000 who showed up to Fenway the day you were there. Their numbers have grown exponentially the past decade, and with the Patriots, Red Sox, Celtics, and now potentially the Bruins, they have grown into the most insufferable bunch of crap talking douchebags. I was not only at Fenway for a couple of games, but I was all over the city for several days before the series started. Maybe I just got lucky with my experience in the city for a week.
