    The Matthews family is something else. http://i1213.photobucket.com/albums/cc471/bondag/58C0FDC3-65D6-4BC9-A72C-DC2C7884291D_zps0oodp91f.jpg On the far left is Texas A&M junior C Mike, in the suit is the Atlanta Falcons #1 pick T Jake, in the Falcons hat is 19-year NFL veteran T Bruce, to his left is Kevin who was undrafted C out of Texas A&M but has spent the past 4 years with the Titans & Redskins, and on the far right is Luke who is 6'3" 300 pounds...and is 14-years old & just finishing 8th grade. I'm surprised Bruce didn't end up on that ESPN 30 for 30 Broke documentary just from having to feed those boys.

    He was actually pretty solid. Results don't tell you everything. I don't understand why it's considered a fielder's choice and counts as an out if they don't record an out. Why does Rizzo deserve a hit? He could have easily been thrown out had the fielder decided to throw to first.

    I once went through airport security ahead of Ned Yost. The Brewers had just been swept by the Cardinals and the TSA guy had the balls to mention it to him. I said all loud, the cardinals are the luckiest bastards in baseball. Later on, Yost came up to me and told me I was right. He then went and sat down with a magazine about boat ownership. Did you two bro hug?
