  1. June Jones resigned at SMU. I guess getting your asses kicked by UNT was the final straw. Especially with A&M next up after a bye week.
  2. Should be never. Head injuries are nothing to mess with and this is not a new issue for him.
  3. Gurley is an incredible RB but doesn't he have a history of injury problems and a bit of the fumblitis? Fournette looked very pedestrian tonight.
  4. Kenny Hill became the first A&M QB ever to throw for 500 yards in a game.
  5. The first was definitely on Everett. The second was a case of either Everett or the safety not being in the right defense. Nope. Go back and watch safety Howard Matthews #31 bite on the run fake on the first one. He should have been helping deep.
  6. Yeah, no way A&M has a good offense.
  7. The first TD was definitely on the safety. Think that may have been the case on the second one too. Everett is a damn good CB.
  8. The secondary is killing us right now. Ugh.
  9. Kenny Hill has been very impressive so far. The OL is outstanding as expected and we are so deep at WR and RB. If the D can keep playing well (one huge mistake for the long TD) it could be a fun night.
  10. Mt Pleasant? I went to culinary school in Charleston. What a great town. You guys will have no problem with aTm. Yeah, I grew up in the Columbia area and went to school there, but moved to the Charleston area after college. We love it here. If we can't handle A&M at home with ease, it's going to be a long season. Handle A&M with ease? Good luck with that. I fully expect South Carolina to win the game but it will be a fight.
  11. Dammit. I was contemplating a trip to OKC this weekend to see Iowa play. I guess I can still go see Soler and Bryant.
  12. That would leave the team extremely weak at guard. Are we that confident in Snell after a few summer league games?
  13. I agree but I can see their point, everyone here are Cub fans so maybe that's where it comes from. But they are also presumably Blackhawks fans. You remember the Blackhawks, the team that has won two of the last four Cups and 12 playoff series in the last six years, including one against our biggest rival last year when they were down 3-1? There is only 1 Cup.
  14. This made me LOL.
  15. Man, what an exciting stressful game last night. So happy to get the W. If we can figure out a way to not give away a few goals tomorrow night we have a good shot of playing on Sunday. And I can't imagine losing game 7 at home.
  16. http://cdn.bleacherreport.net/images_root/article/media_slots/photos/001/558/665/b08a3b73a7d9e598ff24c2b8a8008f3a_original.jpg?1401204926
  17. Very frustrating to watch the last few games. Maybe I'm an idiot but I do not think L.A. is a better team. I can handle losing when you're outmatched but the Hawks have more talent IMO. I know it's not over yet but they put themselves in a very tough spot.
  18. Really? The worst? Whose his competition? You think he's worse than Daley? or any other politician? How about Tunney? Tunney's kinda the worst. an alderman pales in comparison to the mayor That's racist!
  19. Is there any doubt that when the Hawks play up to their potential that they are the better team? They got complacent last night with a 2 goal lead, caught a few bad breaks, and got bitch slapped in the 3rd. If we had to lose at home I'm glad it happened this way. I think the embarrassment will cause them to refocus and come out guns blazing Saturday night. It wouldn't surprise me to see them win the next 3.
  20. Am I the only one that has never seen this mentioned before? http://espn.go.com/chicago/mlb/story/_/id/10967581/chicago-cubs-owner-tom-ricketts-opts-return-original-wrigley-field-renovation-plan
  21. The Matthews family is something else. http://i1213.photobucket.com/albums/cc471/bondag/58C0FDC3-65D6-4BC9-A72C-DC2C7884291D_zps0oodp91f.jpg On the far left is Texas A&M junior C Mike, in the suit is the Atlanta Falcons #1 pick T Jake, in the Falcons hat is 19-year NFL veteran T Bruce, to his left is Kevin who was undrafted C out of Texas A&M but has spent the past 4 years with the Titans & Redskins, and on the far right is Luke who is 6'3" 300 pounds...and is 14-years old & just finishing 8th grade. I'm surprised Bruce didn't end up on that ESPN 30 for 30 Broke documentary just from having to feed those boys.
  22. Too many days off between games really makes this place turn weird.
  23. Great news on BMarsh!
