    Not sticking up for Clay Travis but he's accurate on the Jimbo Fisher to A&M angle. It's obviously not 100% but at this point I'll be surprised if it doesn't happen based on the people I hear from. They normally are very noncommittal on coaching searches but not this time.

    I'm happy with what I've seen from Trubisky so far. He needs a ton of help on offense and the whole coaching staff needs to go, though.

    I really hope Schwarber doesn't get traded this offseason. I may be meatballing it here but I love this kid and want to see him play for the Cubs for a long time.

    I know it's way too early but I think the Bears are only a game out of a Wild Card spot if the season ended today. I'm not sure how this is possible since every division has a 2nd place team at least 1 game over .500 while the Bears are 1 game below, and they're 1-4 against other NFC teams. I wasn't taking tiebreakers into the equation.

    Already down pretty far with division conference the breakers with 2 of our 3 wins against the AFC. 9-7 probably doesn't get the Bears in the playoffs if I had to take a guess. I know it's way too early but I think the Bears are only a game out of a Wild Card spot if the season ended today. But the division/conference record could definitely hurt if it gets to a tiebreaker scenario. We still have 4 division games left - 2 against the crappy Lions, 1 against the Rodgers-less Pack, and the last week of the season against Minnesota who may have nothing to play for in that game. I know it's not likely to happen but it's nice to know that it's at least a remote possibility at this point of the season.

    That was an old school Bears win yesterday. The D has been pretty impressive lately despite the injuries. I am started to get excited for next season assuming we focus on improving the offense & giving Trubisky some help on that side of the ball. Hell, looking at the rest of our schedule the Bears might even have a shot at sneaking into the playoffs if 9-7 will get them in.
