I'm still not quite sure what to think of his tenure at A&M. He should've had enough talent to field better defenses than he did but the offenses didn't do them any favors while he was there. In the end I think he needs to coach on a team that plays ball control offense and that he will struggle when paired up with quick strike offenses. So, the opposite of a Chad Morris offense. Got it. Fantastic. Chief’s defense only gave up 55 to Wake Forest today. Lol.

Wait...Darvish and two *more* relievers? Or Darvish and the two we already signed? If you're counting the guys we signed already, don't forget Chatwood and Smyly. If you're talking two more relievers, where will we put them all? The bullpen, duh.
If the Winter Meetings are ever in your city, go over and check it out. I went in Dallas several years ago on the advice of a co-worker. I didn't get there until things were winding down but I still got to meet a bunch of people. Larry Bowa was kind of a dick and was buying a beer in front of me shortly before going on MLB Network. Saw Tommy Lasorda hanging around the lobby and so on. Never saw Theo or Jed though, unfortunately.
Hearing rumors that A&M is going to give Jimbo a 10-year $75MM deal. I think that's ridiculous but it ain't my money, so go right ahead if that's what it takes.
