    he's going to and it won't be long. i love the first inning ninnies already haha he wasn't really fooling anybody and the hits and runs will come. though, a quick (or relatively quick) shut down inning from jon would help a lot for morale he struck two guys out well yeah but one is javy so that's not unexpected (ever) and the other was to bryant who recently took one of the most inept looking ABs ever and then dongs wainwright the next AB. i'm judging overall stuff here. zo smoked his ball. rizzo was JUST under it. there were hard hit balls

    nolan coming up with 2nd and 3rd no outs and we get out of it like 10 pitches later with 3 outs and only a single run. i'm completely fine with that half inning. it's not like this cubs team ever seemed to score first anyway (though that has been annoying af all year)

    1) Kyle annoys everyone on NSBB throughout the game 2) Lester is very good but not dominant. Cubs score a couple early and pull away late from a HR off the bat of one David Bote

    for now, at least it does sound super sexy to give them a taste and then beat them when it actually matters i actually was saying this same thing to my (lone guy) co-worker that is a braves *fan* it would would be very "cubs-like" for this particular group to totally be trolling the hell out of everyone and lose the division and then sweep them in the NLDS after they celebrated on our field and we repay the favor. javy would just laugh and laugh and laugh and everyone would be talking about the cubs again and the brewers would be infinitely more jealous. that could happen or the cubs could get killed tomorrow or by the brewers and oh well we won the WS a couple years ago and i'll still be hype af for opening day next year with this group (plus bryce) with a chip on their shoulder.

    arguably worse. vasgersian a-rod and that lady a LADY ugh. nevermind. horsefeathers it i'm not watching the game anymore but seriously i don't mind vasgersian tbh and a-rod kind of sucks but not on the level of the insufferable team working today. i'm fine with it. as long as the lady isn't doris burke i'm fine with that crew and especially if it's jessica mendoza also, safe flight and travels tomorrow. i am a bitch when it comes to morbid joking (except for cardinals deaths. those are fine)

    this entire board is depressing the hell out of me more than the cubs did today (way to go guys! didn't think that was possible) yes, today sucked and people have been/are/will be wrong/they suck/we suck/cobs suck/baseball sucks etc. OK enough already. hopefully the cubs can do a 180 from how they looked today (they can. no clue if they will. but obviously they can). if they don't the season over and it sucks. but how long do you all need to sulk and bitch. suck it up and hope they play better tomorrow and win, hendricks is horsefeathering money like he can/should be, and we are right back where we only EVER wanted to be when this frustrating season started. God
