  1. Who freakin cares!!! Champs baby!!! No negativity is allowed!
  2. I FREAKIN LOVE YOU GUYS!!! GO CUBS!!!
  3. I've always respected the Astros and what they've been able to accomplish. They deserve better management down there, and hopefully they're getting it. Hopefully they only improve enough to finish behind us by a few less games next year though.
  4. It makes me feel better that Florida's putting a minor beating on NY at the moment
  5. Anyone else catch how at the end of the Florida game, Len was ranting about being afraid of facing an "all-LH hitting" cincy OF of griffey, dunn and hamilton? Come on Len, read the news.
  6. What about Kendall's numbers do you like, especially batting 2nd? Soto should be starting. Well, it could be that Kendall's career Ave/OBP/OPS against the Reds is .318/.408/.873. Or he is .324/.398/.834 @ the GABP. Or .310/.393/.791 career hitter in September. I'll give Lou the benefit of the doubt on this one. His 1.319 OPS hitting 2nd isn't bad either. Or maybe his .312/.346 line when there's a runner at first for him. Or maybe above anything else its the fact that he hits for a .929 OPS at the GAB. Christ you people will complain about anything sometimes. Last I checked a freakin .366 National League OBP was worthy of hitting 2nd but what do I know
  7. Tonight's Vegas: Milwaukee opened favored at -125 At current time Milwaukee is favored at -109 Cubs opened favored at -115 At current time Chicago is favored at -134 Over/Unders for both games is set at 9
  8. Stay focused and positive guys. No sarcasm. We can clinch tonight.
  9. I love that. HE IS a bulldog!
  10. I dont remember who posted this, so thanks to whoever it was. But anyway, listen to this, and remember how excited and happy we were not too long ago against these very Reds. Keep the faith. http://home.comcast.net/~bcvm22/september192007.mp3
  11. I also would start Pie considering Jones's absolutely awful numbers against Arroyo, but I'm already resigned that it's not going to happen (and I'm not sure it would make that much difference anyway). I still can't get over that AB by Jones with the bases loaded and the game on the line. AB's like that make me believe that in past times where he's came through in the clutch, it was a fluke - and the norm is anxious Jacque flailing away at sliders striking out, or trying to pull them/rolling over on them weakly to the right side. Sit him, jesus.
  12. I think Aramis will have a big day tomorrow. He's looked absolutely locked in lately. I'd also like to see Jones sit for a day, maybe let Pie get a start.
  13. haha Soriano does his little bunny hop and Wood stared him down like 'wtf was that? Dont mess with my outs. '
  14. one of the worst AB's of the season I could feel Jones' anxiety through my TV
  15. It would be 3-1 right now classic example of how lack of patience turns into bad ABs
  16. brenly says jacque is hitting .284 vs LHP this year
  17. If I were him I'd be drinking myself into a coma right now. he looked like he already did that in the tunnel between innings
  18. Please hit one over that stupid wall and redeem yourself and this entire team
