    I know no one cares what Morgan has to say anyway, but freaking Berman has interrupted him mid-sentence about 20+ times. Joe's gonna throw him out of the booth pretty soon.

    Just to add to this thread, I caught Sean in O'Hare yesterday after I was returning from Seattle (SAFECO Field freaking owns, btw). I gave him a quick "Hey, Sean" and that was it. He smiled and tipped his (Cubs) hat. He was with another guy in a Cubs hat who I didn't immediately recognize...maybe just a friend? Anyway, he was wearing normal clothes (no damn affliction t-shirt, thank god), was smiling, and seemed like some guy you'd meet on campus or something. Nice guy. Hope he excels in whatever position we have him in. I should of asked him if he prefers left field to starting, in hindsight.

    He's got the same issue as Soriano, or a few other examples. He can't hit breaking stuff. He gets behind in the count, and the AB is basically over. Add to that pitchers adjusting to him, and you have the current Jay Bruce. I guarantee an obnoxious amount of his HR's were in context where it didn't really affect the outcome of the game (please spare me the sabr on that comment, we all know it's true).

    Glad to see Riggleman get another chance, honestly. Too bad it's with the Nats, but another chance is another chance.

    I don't get the hatred for Mariotti. I really don't. He's a little sensationalist, but who isn't? He's a journalist, it's his job to generate interest, and he sure as hell does that. If you want to hate beat writes, hate Sullivan. He does the whole sensationalist thing as well, but it's usually (always) based on things he pulled out of his rear end, instead of facts.

    We need Soriano to be Soriano, and Harden to be Harden.

    Exactly. I honestly don't think the Harden analyzation needs to go any deeper than this. He's hurt, period. And I don't mean velocity. His pitches are flattening out like pavement. Whatever it is, I hope he can turn it around. You and me both. :( He's fun to watch, and seems to be a pretty intense and likable guy.

    This is a non-story. Of course Soriano's frustrated. Who cares? Wouldn't you be mad if you were having a bad year and you're randomly getting benched now? Seriously, who cares. Would you rather Soriano just not give a crap? I hate you Paul Sullivan. This isn't TMZ. A better topic of conversation and analysis (and a better article) would be about the extent of Soriano's supposed injuries. I mean thats like, you know, factual and stuff.
