There's a pretty decent chance that Kalish is a better short and long term option in the OF than Lake. Over the season that distinction will become more clear, and the playing time should adjust accordingly, whether it means Lake or Kalish getting more time, or maybe both if another OF struggles. There's nothing hurt by a platoon that also gives Lake some PA v. RHP in the meantime though, and despite being on the thinner half of the platoon, Lake still has 9 more PA than Kalish already. What are you basing your long term logic on?
