    I meant to type 2008. But it definitely has been since then. I deleted a sentence I wrote referring to 2003 though - and it was in reference to the same train of thought admittedly. Let me put it this way, I haven't felt like we've had a plan and a hopeful future like this since 2003. I haven't had this much fun watching the team since 2008.

    You know, regardless of anything, I'm having fun with the Cubs right now. I look forward to watching the games. I like being involved on this message board. I'm curious and hopeful as to the future. That's all I've asked for and wanted since 2003, and it's been delivered. I'm content. This is fun, and I only see it getting more fun over the next couple years. To me, it's exciting times.
