  1. He said 2004.
  2. If it works tonight you'll be eating a lot of pizza.
  3. It was a beautiful thing.
  4. Michigan with the 15 yard roughing the kicker call. Maybe Illinois does get to 50 now. BTW, why is Juice still in or Dufrene for that matter.
  5. FUMBLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
  6. We'd just have to win opening day 2009.
  7. He's been a beast ever since he got out of Shawshank.
  8. Demp will be in the bullpen tonight and tomorrow. If he's called on to pitch then Z will start game 5.
  9. This is an awful idea. Depends on if the Cubs have to pay him when he goes back to Japan. If not, I don't see how it's an awful idea.
  10. How do you ship that to someone with out shaking out the picture? That was awesome.
  11. I burned a j once. (I didn't inhale though. I may want to run for President one day.)
  12. More time to get tanked to kill the pain. You'll be too drunk to watch Harden shut them down.
  13. Chris hasn't posted since July 8 and hasn't been logged in at all since Aug. 25. This is the second time he's been away for an extended time within the past year. The previous time I believe it was due to family and/or work issues. I'm not sure about this time. I agree we need to know if he wants to stay in the league and, ir so, if he's committed to keeping up with it. He has a week to post in here, I guess.
  14. Shows how much they know.
  15. Maybe we should be the Holy Cubs or something.
  16. Win to cure heartburn. Or is it heartache. I can't tell.
  17. I was referring to several of the other hits he allowed. And yes, the ground balls that the fielders booted were also hard-hit. If he hadn't been unlucky they were booted, he'd have been very lucky they were at'em balls. He was adequate last night, but nothing particularly special. Whether you consider that "good" or not is semantics. He should have only allowed 1 run, and that on a home run from a guy who homers off of everybody. He was pounding the zone and was not just "adequate", he was the good Zambrano. Not to mention that ridiculous 2nd inning wore him down and made him throw a ton of pitches. If Derosa turns that double play I can say with confidence that he would have gone at least 7 innings, giving up just the one run. I agree. Z wasn't the problem last night.
  18. I'm cbbryan everywhere except a Yanks board I post on and I'm Mr. Cub (I use to be MunsonAviation, but they made me change that.)
  19. The flipside of that is at least the Angels aren't getting swept out by a team that only won 84 games and was 13.5 games worse than them in the regular season. Yeah, but the Cubs are going to come back and win.
  20. Harden's much better than Rich Hill. Anything can happen, but the Cubs need to come out on fire and Harden needs to shut them down.
  21. Let's turn this ship around. This team can turn it around if they get their collective arses in gear.
