    I only want to keep Hairston if he goes to DON'T SLIDE AT FIRST BASE SCHOOL." I like the idea of Nomar at 2B and Ronny at SS. Why not keep Walker for off the bench? I'd much rather have him playing 2B if Nomar went down for an extended period of time next season as apposed to Hairston. Although, you could keep Hairston as well. (Let Neifi and Macias go.) I think someone may think Neifi can play everyday and offer a deal anyway.

    Well, my team's done all they can do. It looks as if I'll win my match-up w/ Raw, but Bulbs' doesn't look like he'll pull the win.................. That sucks! I'll probably get to play NSBB, or something in the first round. I thought I'd be in..................this sucks! :cry:

    Arroyo won't get a QS.........I think Bulbs have will probably we behind by 10 or so after tonight, but will hold a 3-2 advantage in the starts remaining. I was afraid that Raw would take the lead this evening because of the scheduling. I didn't have many position players playing today, but I may be okay.

    GO BULBS!!!! Looks like the Bulbs will take the lead after the pitching updates tonight. King Felix pitches a great game, but looses to the Yankees. He'll get a QS, though. I don't think either team has been ahead by double digits yet..................too close!!!! Raw and I are back and forth everyday it seems. I lucked out that Pedro got shelled. I was almost certain he'd at least get a QS, but no such luck for Raw. Lynx is down 35 points at the turn of the week...............not that it matters, Juan is in the playoffs......................you resting your starters for the playoffs, Juan?

    The more I watch of Cedeno, the more I like the kid. For some reason he reminds me of Jeter.............not a big guy, smooth fielder, scrappy hitter. I don't know what it is, I think of Jeter when I watch this kid. I gotta say, he's growing on me........the more I watch.

    I don't know about the rest of you, but I can't wait to hear the diagnosis after his surgery. I suspect it's nothing structural (meaning no tears) and that he just needed it cleaned out. Good Luck tomorrow, Woody!

    I thought Edwards HR went through the bottom of the basket and was actually resting on the top of the ivy? That is true, but I took it back. The ball was in the basket, and then a big guy leaned on the net, it then fell onto the ivy. After they could not reach it, I stretched over and was able to get it. I came up firing. Nueby tivo'ed it, and said they showed it on the ivy, but cut away before the throw. Listen to the crowd and I am sure they could be heard. I thought the guy in the red shorts was going over the wall! LOL! Congrats though............and nice stretch............that's a heck of a reach!

    UGH!! 0 QS out of 3 starts tonight. Thank goodness Raw didn't get any out of his 2 starts yesterday either. Bulbs have a slight lead on Buddiga! Keep it up!!!!

    I don't think he'll ever get in, but if he does........it will be as an Expo.

    The only problem I have with getting rid of Wood, is the nature of his "injury" this year. He's said over and over that it's not painful............more of an irritation, or discomfort. Which to me indicates that he there's floating depree from the surgery and he needs it cleaned out. Matt Morris had a similar situation with his arm after TJS. I think we should have someone ready to cover him if he struggles next year, but I think there's a very good chance that he'll actually progress next year since he's having his surgery this week. He'll have plenty of time to rehab and will be ready first thing next year. I don't think anyone will argue that he's not a great pitcher when healthy.

    I like Neifi off the bench! I don't! He saved the Cubs after Nomar was injured. I know Dusty Baker's sign-on at NSBB now! :lol:

    If they want Cedeno to play everyday all they have to do is bench Neifi Perez. Get Ced some experience @ 2b and ante up for Furcal in the offseason. It would be nice to have some range up the middle. I'd rather see what he can do at SS everyday. May free up some money to make a trade for a GREAT corner outfielder. Such as?? If they can get Manny, sure bring Walker and Ced back. I agree. My point is, let the kid play were he's comfortable and see what he can do. You just don't know how the offseason will shape up, so don't try to get the kid to get acquainted in the MLs and switch his position at the same time. That's silly. Let him play SS.

I don't think Nef cleared. For some foolish reason Hendry pulled him back. Seriously, DFA him................get him out of here.

    I am of the opinion that we should release Macias right now and stock up with kids on our roster. Baker would kill himself if he cant user any veterans hahaha. i wouldn't have a problem with that. i love the fact that this takes away from dusty's toybox. getting rid of neifi and macias would probably be enough to make him resign, haha. hahaha! toybox. Dusty would cry if Macias or Neifi were traded. Goodbye Hollandsworth, good riddence of your suckiness. Let him cry a river.......................BTW, nice PH by Macias today. 3 pitches...........3 swings.............no contact. Heck, McClain hasn't seen MLB pitching since '98 and he ripped the ball (ruled an E, I think, but still a rip).
