Wright has an awful, awful start and is out before the 4th. Gonzalez gives up 2ER in 1/3 IP for negative points. Thankfully, Renteria goes on a tear today w/ 15.75 pts. Cubs suck, btw! WTG, Kim! Bonds passes the Babe! I was hoping for a broken knee cap before Bonds could catch anyone, but that didn't work out.

VERY slight (1/2 point). Last year there was a week when I lost by less than a point. This could be a repeat for one of us. Today will probably decide it. You have quite a few starts to my none. If I can hang close, it will be a really tight finish! Marshall did his part to help me today. Too bad the Cubs hitters were their usual pathetic, incompetent, lifeless selves so that I only got a QS from Marshall, not a win. I didn't know if I'd even have a shot with your 3 starts to my 0 yesterday. I probably dodged a bullet with Schilling who didn't get a QS. As it stands I'm 12.8 behind w/ 2 starts to your 0. I like my chances...... lets see how it plays out!

Yeah, I'm not a big fan of Crawford today! :cry: I am. :D I'd be even more a fan of his if he were a Cub. At least until Dusty and Clines do what they do best and ruin him. Yeah, Crawford put a damper on my day, but my bats are starting to heat up. I have 4 HR already, I think I had 2 all week last week. If Giambi and VMart would get back on track I'd be in good shape! Should be a tight game, though.

Yeah, I almost enrolled in Extra Innings as well. Here's hoping Maddux wins #324 to tie Nolan Ryan................ with a new manager. Of course, he'll have to pitch better then today.

This week is extremely disappointing. My guys hit, just not with an ounce of power. Tim had 5 HRs yesterday alone....................... I have 1 all week. I have about 50 singles, though! My pitching was pretty good outside of Chacon who was hurt and lost out on his second game of the week. You know it's a bad thing when you need Cory Lidle to pitch a perfect game.............................just to have a chance. "There's always next week!"

I probably wouldn't be getting my ass kicked as bad if it wasn't for my teams inability to hit extrabase hits. 6 doubles and 10RBI in 46 hits. I may need 2 60+ scoring days to catch you, Tim!

How's Pie looking.......... It figures, I move down to Mississippi after being in Iowa for a couple years and Pie goes to Iowa. i just got done w/ school on friday, so i've only been to one game. he ripped a shot down the 1b line on friday night, but got gunned trying to stretch it into a triple. he's got quite the arm. he almost threw out a guy trying to score from second on a basehit w/ an absolutely amazing throw. the baserunner didn't think it was going to be close enough to slide, and he about got embarrassed. Sweet! I've got a few contractual agreement down here in Mississippi w/ my construction company, but my wife and I are debating on coming back north. I don't know if I'll go to Iowa, or Illinois. I found an awesome house just north of Chicago in Wisconsin. Bad thing is, it's in Wisconsin. If I move there, am I automatically a cheese head, or do I get a pass because I wasn't born there?

I'm on a streak of playing GHS, Buddiga, Harry's Budcrew, Quakers and Lynx. That's pretty harsh. I'm glad I'm getting Woody back. Now I just need Sheff back, Liriano in the rotation and I'll be set. :D I have a few tough ones coming up too. Starting with Raw. Earlier this season I thought Raw would be easy pickings, but not lately. Santana has been coming to life and I actually benched Randy Johnson for ineffectiveness. Raw was points leader this week!
