  1. There was a gay marriage thread?
  2. Its a good thing he is pretty good at football, if it wasn't for that he would be cooking the chicken from popeye's he is fixing to eat. I am pretty sure he has the lowest IQ on the entire roster.
  3. 8 starts last week, 6 starts this week, and a 3rd straight week having a pitcher go on the DL. I'm just glad Juan is beating the snot out of me.
  4. After reading this, I stand corrected. I thought he was a late 4th to mid 5th pick. I knew the Bears would pick him eventually, as they loved him at the Texas pro day. But yeah, they coulda waited til the 5th most likely. It sounds like the guy MIGHT justify using that pick on him, but still...they could have taken someone else and got him later. He'd easily still be there on our next pick for sure. I love his athletic ability. Anybody who can move from RB to starting DE for one of the best teams in the country is definitely worth keeping an eye on. However, it was a reach. The Bears clearly like rare athletic ability, so DJ Moore should have been strongly considered with his 3-story building vertical jump. I really like Melton. Being he has played the position just for a couple of years after being in the backfield his entire football career. He may take a year or two to develop but he has the potential, low risk high reward. He is very athletic for a big guy.
  5. I hate Stephen McGee too. The papers have been reporting this for a couple of weeks, but I tried to just ignore it. What's your take on our other picks? I think it seems obvious that the Cowboys are taking more projects but also targeting guys who have the skills to play on special teams. I really wanted Nicks, and thought he would be a good 2nd WR with Miles as the 3rd and the one to stretch the field. Other than that its been kind of blah, which I expected though.

  7. I hate the Cubs more than my team.
  8. Right now Crabtree and Orakpo look to be steals at #10 and #13.
  9. probably a couple days Lou will be getting ejected from a game very soon.
  10. That was funny just hearing that the Crabtree family seemed happy the Raiders didn't take him.
  11. Damn it, Crabtree just fell into the 49'ers lap. No way they are trading this pick.
  12. Raji looks to be going here, maybe, who knows today.
  13. I need company. Become a Saints fan. We got Drew Brees and he's uber-badass to root for. :-) Of course he is, he is from Texas just like your Ole Miss QB ;-).
  14. Sorry man, that sucks. The Cowboys are not all that much different from the Raiders in terms of drama, might be an easy transition for you.
  15. That would make this one of the greatest drafts ever.
  16. I knew I could count on you Al Davis. I thought this was going to be a very boring draft.
  17. Wow, trade down and draft him several picks later. I hope Jerry Jones is on the phone right now with Crabtree and Mac still on the board.
  18. I still believe Al Davis can screw this up somehow.
  19. I agree. I hate having to watch the draft with Radio City Music Hall infested with Jets fans. It's amazing that they didn't boo when Sanchez was announced. Hell must have frozen over. Some did, Hell is still alive.
  20. Does anyone think that the Draft should rotate cities and not just be in NY every year? Maybe give it to the team with the worst record the year before to create some excitement. I'm tired of the Jets fans every year.
  21. That Seahawks hats were the ugliest thing I have ever seen in the NFL.
  22. I wonder how many teams are now calling the Browns.
  23. Things got a little more interesting now. I still think that moving to a 3-4 Curry was the best pick. Oh well I am not a Chiefs fan so it doesn't matter too much too me.
  24. I don't think he is really betting an NBA career, he will play there for two years probably around a half million and come back to the NBA when he is first eligible in 2011. 2 years in Europe vs. 1 year in HS and 1 in College. Given in the increase in the level of play in Europe why not do it. This is a chance for him to basically study abroad where if he does have an NBA career, being a college 1 and done he will never get this opportunity again.
  25. I have no clue, but thats fine.
