I think most head coaches these days are more CEO types, but it seems like Texas has still been able to get assistants. They got Harsin from Boise, and replaced Muschamp with Diaz, who is also really well regarded. I think the biggest problem for UT has been horrific QB play. This. They haven't successfully recruited a good QB since Colt. I think Ash still has a chance, but they have Conner Brewer coming in who Harsin has been recruiting for 3 years. Oh and the OL has been [expletive] for two years too. Manny Diaz is the truth though. I might like him more than Muschamp given 1 more year. Oh and Mack is also just a CEO, still a closer when it comes to recruiting though.
