Another guy i would like to see the Cubs have interest in if they cannot get Lee is Torii Hunter

Zito is not worth the money he's going to command in the offseason. I would stay away from him at all costs. Well cubs are going to need to sign a FA pitcher this off-season. Who would you want instead? ANother guy I would like the cubs to look at is Kelvim Escabor, but that being said Zito is the best pitcher on the market and he is a former CY young winner so your probably right in the fact he will command alot of $$$$$$$$

Not everything. Lee, Zambrano, Marshall(unless we can get Tejeda or Abreu in a deal invloving him) Barrett, Ramirez, Cedeno, Murton, Howry, Eyre, Dempster, Speier(Only real coach on this team), Prior(same with Marshall) I disagree. Maybe Lee and Zambrano can stay, I like them, but honestly, for the right deal, I'd let them go too...it sure as heck ain't working now. lets trade Lee for, Beckett, Ortiz and Manny Ramariez, throw in poppleborn also thank god you arent the GM Cause I could possibly produce worse results than the current one? well seeing Zambrano has 3 of the cubs 4 last wins, id say yes Zambrano is the staff ace. Why would you trade your best pitcher when this is a guy to build around. Would the Twins trade Santana? I dont think so

Hendry did make a couple of bad moves this offseason: Perez and Rusch should of not been signed to 2 year deals. I would of been able to except it if they were 1 year deals, but now who is going to take these guys knowing they will have 1 year left on their contract? NOBODY

This has to be one of the worst Cubs team in history, and one of the most disappointing teams ever. Figuring they have one of the highest payrolls in baseball, one of the highest paid managers in baseball, and because of 2003 success. This team needs to be blown up starting with Mac"Fail"

Nope. No kidding. So far, Hendry's answer to this offensive offense has been to call up a no htting OFer, then exchange him for a light hitting 2B (the 4th on the roster) and then send that guy down for a career light-htting 2B he just pulled off the scrap heap. Hendry clearly gave up on this team the moment Lee broke his wrist. That has to be the explanation, but the only other possible explanations would be inability to SEE what is wrong ir inability to do anything about it...either of which are inexcusable from a GM. WOW. How can you say Hendry has given up on this team??? You have GM's in baseball saying he is always on the phone. WOW your comment does not make any sense. No teams are willing to make trades in APRIL. WOW you must be... well im not going to say it because im in shock yeah obviously someone didn't see that the Mets and D'Backs just made a trade 2 days ago. If Hendry was working hard on the phones, he'd have a trade by now...guranteed. so who do you want at 1b that is a better option than walker?

Who is we? Do you have a mouse in your pocket? Stop saying that, it's pretty ridiculous. A good portion of the forum says "we" so I'd probably stop worrying about it. How about you Relax kid I'm pretty relaxed right now actually. No worries about a playoff race, etc. Just pointing out that you've said it a few times and that it's probably not something you should worry about. Im not worried about it.

Zambrano has been pitching well lately and should lead the Cubs to victory. and Sarge what the hell do you do? Sit in the dugout and read baseball for dummies? This whole coaching staff does not give any advice or at least it dosent seem like it.

Speaking of Rothschild is he still on the coaching staff? Because these cub pitchers seem to struggle with mechanics all the time and never seem to fix them. Prime example Kerry Glass. His mechanics have been awful the past couple of years, and if your a pitching coach your JOB is to fix them. Give me a break Rothschild.
