Nice for Rick Ankiel that he homered again. But Fox acts is he is now a first ballot HOF. Also they are acting as if the Cards are now going to win the WS now. It just makes my brain hurt watching this game.

I know...I'm not excited now, because there's still so many steps. If I make it to the top fifty for the internet vote, I might start really thinking about it. If you make the top 50 is there any doubt you will make the top ten. -
That seems possible. But if he's been pain free for a month, then maybe he'll be able to stay that way for a while, as long as he keeps treating the injury. I'm pulling for KW but with comments like that I just think he's most likely done.

Question about Officials Rigging Games

I agree with you completely. Right now I think CFB already has a problem with rigging of games. But not for gambling. There are officials who are alumns of a university but are still allowed to officiate games of the school whom they have graduted from. With hockey and baseball there is less scoring so less chances for shaving points. -
I've never heard anyone say anything bad about Miller park until now.

5k for a worthless ball, that guys an idiot. If someone gave me $500.00 I'd be happy as could be. -
A team that is only 1 game back of the Cubs is a bigger threat than a team that is 6 games back. If they begin to catch up, we'll worry about that later. I am not concerned with the WC until we get to Mid August. I don't want a team in our division that we face 10 more times to be on any kind of roll.

That could be, but it just seems like all the hot guys suddenly go cold again and thats when the team starts to lose, sort of a big winning streak hangover. I believe that's known as "wishful thinking" on your behalf. :D Yep I'm a half full guy when we are talking about the Cubs.

Maybe the Cubs Bleh was the first 2 month of the season.

It's to early to be cheering for the Cards. They are only 6 in back of us and only 8 1/2 games in back of the Breweres. Remember not so long ago we were 8 1/2 games back.
