  1. I heard about this site in years past. Never used it. http://www.ticketswap.biz/login.asp
  2. I am the biggest idiot. The dates I chose happened to be the same day when a big convention is in town. (May 29-31). I'm so screwed. It's looking like I either stay in Deerfied and take the Metra (which I'm not to familiar with. Even with that I think one of my tickets is a night game and I'm not sure the Metra goes that late. Or sell my tix on E-bay, chose a different day and buy from scalpers. Anybody have an extra bleacher ticket for the NSBB meet up.
  3. I'm glad the Cubs aren't doing anything. Anything in Spring Training is not going to be noticed and doing it on opening day is almost ESPN like. With false sadness to get attention to themselves not the tragedy.
  4. Why would anyone buy bleacher box seats? You still get the crappy view and miss the benifit of GA and the overall party atmoshere since your seat is assigned. Plus you pay 23 more dollars for prime ticket for a stinkin back.
  5. Right now you can get in really easy. I tried a test to see what I could get if I waited till now. I could have gotten bleachers for all but one game. That one game I still could have gotten good seats. I wonder if I should have saved my vacation hours. Well it's a tradition with me so I must keep it up. You can still get good seats for most games right now.
  6. Tickets no longer available for the bleachers on the 10th.
  7. Maybe they are counting backwards because I was getting Rockie's tickets that were in the 3000's after online tix were on sale for less then an hour
  8. Still waiting on my 3rd E-mail confirmation. My CC looks to be charged as my available credit available is about the difference between what it started at and how much I spent on tickets today. I'm guessing the E-mails take longer as the day goes on.
  9. they did last year too. Really, I must have forgotten.
  10. They are mailing bleacher seats now. This just dawned on me.
  11. Got through for all my games. 1 hr. and 15 minutes. To bad I can only afford 3 games. :( Last year and the year before I went to 8 games each. I'm done. Good luck to everyone.
  12. Yeah I'd say that's pretty lucky if true.
  13. Got in again only need one more game. If I get it soon I probably could go back to work. Naah that's not happening.
  14. Got in. Went to look at sox tickets. Unfortuatly sold out. Got my one Saturday Rockies game. Only need Thursday and Friday of that week and I'll be done.
  15. That happens every year just keep on clicking ok. I always look at it as being like the doctors office. You sit in the waiting room then you get called into the room only to wait some more.
  16. Glad I'm not the only one being shut out. Im guessing the games I want will still be there (Rockies) though in the afternoon when the volume of people goes down. I was hoping to get through for Sox tickets and E-bay them. Yeah I feel ashamed too but that is a good profit. :D
  17. Found out after about 48 windows my computer locks up. 45's the magic number for me.
  18. How incompetent must the cubs be. They know this happens every year.
  19. If that works tomorrow I will be very happy.
  20. The Chicago Tribune Live show that was dedicated to Harry was just great. I love some of those stories. Hearing the 7th inning stretch just brought back some good memories.
  21. Difference between 3 and 4 is almost non existent. Now if they were making him 5 that would be stupid.
  22. The 42 ticket limit has been around for at least a few years. This year will be the same as the last few and I don't think last year's division title will change much. I'd recommend seeing how far you can push your computer at 9:30 since you have 30 minutes before tickets actually go on sale. Install a tab manager like Tab Mix Plus, which will allow you to better manage a ton of VWR tabs in each Firefox window, and get a sense of what will work for your computer. If your computer gets really slow or crashes, you'd still have plenty of time to restart the test. Has anyone ever had luck with Firefox? I have never got through using them. Tried equal amount of windows of IE and Firefox last year. I never got through with Firefox. Could be coincidence though.
  23. Individual ticket day is like a holiday to me. I'm taking 6 hours of of work. (would take the whole day off but used to much vacation already). Granted I'm doing nothing but staring at my 50 windows all day, but after I get the tickets I start planning my Chicago Vacation. I know I'm weird but this day makes me think of the fun times I will be having in Chicago in the summer.
  24. I just wonder with the sucess last year if it's going to be back to the waiting for 6 hours just to buy 1 game. Like it was 3 or 4 years ago. I'm hoping the limit of 42 means we will never see those days like we had when the limit was something like 160.
