  1. 3.69 is a down year for him. His team has nothing to do with his abilities as a pitcher.
  2. I was really looking forward to watching drunk uncle Trev pitch for you guys.
  3. yes, it is very unlikely that the cardinals have a pitcher in the minor leagues who could be as good as roy oswalt would be this year. if so, that pitcher would be in the major leagues pitching every fifth day. I don't see where you get all this confidence in Oswalt. The man is damaged goods. Damaged goods that had a 3.69 ERA last year pitching half his games in Philly and lead the league in WHIP while placing 6th in the Cy Young vote in 2010. Here's a list of qualifying rookie starting pitchers that had a better ERA than Oswalt last year: Jeremy Hellickson
  4. Largest margin of victory on tour since Rory at the US Open last year.
  5. It's not a graphics fail. It's the guys in the truck making fun of the broadcaster fail.
  6. He's about to win today. 3 shot lead with 6 to play.
  7. It's a 4 point play. Takes 2 shots.
  8. Incredible run
  9. LOL OMG WTF That's pointed at both Lousville and Florida at the 20 second mark.
  10. Know who else's mechanics weren't all that dissimilar from Maddux? Strasburg, from the comparison posted. That's pretty much my entire point.
  11. I love nonsense like that. [instert player name] played for a long time and never got hurt, therefore his mechanics were great.
  12. I have no idea why, but I love Baylor's 1990's track shoe colored unis.
  13. Guess he was serious about the too many muscle relaxers thing. He blew a 0.000.
  14. A: Albert Pujols B: Stanton, Votto C: Holliday, Hosmer, Freeman D: Wright, Zimmerman, Dunn, H Ramirez, Kubel Wildcard PM'd
  15. Yeah, not a chance in hell of that happening OMC.
  16. Bill Simmons saying that he heard Vinny Del Negro is on really really thin ice.
  17. I heard on the radio that he will be re-evaluated after the season. No idea if it's true though.
  18. NonProfitCow yes Yes, if you guys want a baseball signed by Ray King, Steve Kline and Matt Morris. So, no.
  19. That's been my read on it since it came out he was having problems. Really pisses me off that they worry about Oswalt's cost (rumored 10 mil) so they only offer 5 mil but then give 2.5 mil to a bad starter/mediocre reliever and 1.5 mil to a zero tool .675 OPS 5th outfielder.
  20. Meanwhile, Drew Brees says that Payton is great coach and man and he "really needs to hear an explanation for this."
  21. Wow, wouldn't have pegged him to be the lone person affiliated with the Saints to have some integrity. He probably did it more as an "I'll show them" gesture than some sense of moral responsibility. If that helps you out any. Nah, I like to imagine he had a real heart to heart with Kyle Turley and decided it was the right thing to do for the NFL.
  22. Wow, wouldn't have pegged him to be the lone person affiliated with the Saints to have some integrity.
  23. Oh, and if the deal falls through Tebow to the Rams (WTF) looks likely.
  24. Schefter reporting that there's some sort of snag with Tebow's contract that could nullify the trade. I think the portion he's talking about is 5 million.
  25. Pass up a wide open jumper to take 2 seconds off the clock. Idiot point guard.
