    the radio announcer seems to think the run will count if they get Javy out. The radio announcer is not bright.

    It’s certainly up there. 1Bman should have just gone to first once Javy stops. Then he shouldn’t throw the ball home and just tag Javy instead, though at that point he probably has no idea what’s going on and panics. And not that you’d expect him to, but if the 2Bman is covering 1st after the 1Bman runs home, the run still doesn’t score. I mean, there were 2 outs. The runner doesn’t matter at all. Just step on 1st.

    I'm really hoping there is a logical non-shitty explanation for this. I guess they did pay for his surgery but horsefeathers at least pay him his meager minor league salary and let him use your rehab facilities To follow up, I was told that if the Cubs put him on the 60 day, they would have to pay his MLB salary during an extended injury. Once he clears waivers and they outright him, they can then pay him a minor league salary and continue to let him use the Cubs rehab facilities. So only somewhat horsefeathers. There is no “somewhat” about it. It’s shitty.
