There’s an alternate universe where Roberts started all three guys in both games, they went a combined 1-14 with 8 Ks off Sale and Price and lost all three games, and alternate universe Derwood is laughing at Roberts for not starting righties instead. Maybe, but batting 9 righties in a row is generally a bad idea no matter what the splits of your hitters are Why?

Dave Roberts, lineup wizard, sat his top home run hitters for the first two games because god forbid they face lefties Muncy, Bellinger and Pederson combined for a whopping 15 HR vs LHP. Bellinger had a .681 OPS vs LH and Pederson had a .512.

He's getting results right now, but it's ugly IMO. Hips and shoulders are out of whack. Not getting under/through the ball very well. Agree to disagree there, I like the arm slot and the way he’s using his lower body. It’s always nice to see a pitcher throwing the fastball inside for strikes and whiffs too, impressed by his approach Fair enough. I'm a drop and drive guy.

I wonder how this will affect his FA. It shouldn't change too much. I never wanted the Cubs to go after him unless we got him for 1-yr or something. He's going to get a 4-yr deal most likely and it could end badly. Probably will end badly. Please sign with the Cardinals. I don't want the Cardinals wasting money on a closer, but I'd be giddy with them signing Kimbrel. He's kind of great.

The FS1 postgame is unreal. You have ARod, Ortiz and Big Hurt. They pretty much combined .300 .400 .550 and a bazillion dongs and Ortiz and ARod are rambling about bunting. ARod had big index cards with scoring percentages. Runner on 3rd w/ 1 out - 67%. With 2 - 25%. You have to have a horsefeathering runner on 2nd with nobody out first you idiot. I want a horsefeathering slugfest tomorrow.
