    I blew out my left knee in martial arts class (two meniscus tears and a torn ACL). Played a double-header for our softball team two days later and went 8/10 with 2 HR's and 3 2B's with a knee that was "wobbly" and swollen larger than the 12 inch ball we were using. PHHHH! Schilling is a wuss.

    I think I was 11 when I found out that 'softballs' come in sizes smaller than 16". Still not sure why they call them softballs, those 12" things, that is. I never heard of it until last fell, but I play in a 14" league. Gloves for girls, no gloves for guys. It has the make up of a 16' ball. I can't wait till I move back to the city. I tried to get a 16" intramural league going here at school but everyone wanted to play 12" so they could hit homeruns. Tools. *cough* guilty *cough* What can I say, chicks dig the long ball.

    yes No The Cub Reporter ok, i'm going with what people here wrote in the transactions thread If I remember though, wasn't Ohman up during the Baylor era, right before he had TJS. In fact I think Baylor accused him of being being a wuss or something when it turned out he needed surgery. He has to have 5 years of service time by now.

    Good teams follow good innings by the other team by putting a run or two on the board, or at least getting a runer into scoring position. My Cubbies put exactly one ball into play and it didn't get past the pitcher.

If you really believe there's such a thing as baseball gods... good luck to you. hey how can you argue against karma after you said game was ova and this happened Because one has no corelation to the other. That said, my comment was premature. See, wouldn't it be better to just keep your "Ove" comments to yourself? Then you won't have to apologize and backpedal. There are baseball Gods and they hate me and comments such as yours.
