    Honestly, is anyone really surprised that Barrett is gone? After the Pierznyski fight, the fight with Zambrano, the argument with Hill, the poor start to the season, the defensive lapses?? He's been sitting a lot lately. Lou's comments about getting somebody that can "catch the damn ball". Contract year. Is anyone really surprised by this?

    As long as he does it against another team, I'd be happy for him. Like him or not, steroids or not, corked bat or not, 600 home runs is still a fantastic achievement.
