I love this gem: Sure, Richard is on the DL and his W/L record this year is poor but he plays on a terrible team and his peripherals are better than his record would indicate. His line last year was 14-9, 3.75 ERA, 201IP, 1.4WHIP, 7K per start. Not too shabby and when you include the fact that the Padres saved $56M this trade was a HUGE win for them. PV has done nothing and even if he throws a shutout tonight the trade is terribly lopsided.
