Yes it was a terrible draft for the Cubs but it is worth noting that they picked 20th that year and those players were not available available when the Cubs picked. Pawelek was a really bad pick. -

Thoughts on Gioskar Amaya? Hitting for average, 11 2B, 8 3B, 13BB to 39K's in 204AB. The triples tell me that he has speed but he is only 13 for 21 in SB so maybe I'm wrong. .417OBP and .927OPS. I think the kid is doing great at an 18 year old in Arizona. -

So it's taken you over 4 months to come to that conclusion? One year ago tonight Coleman pitched 6.3 innings allowing 1 ER on 103 pitches as the CUBS won in Washington 9-1. How 'bout a repeat performance ?? Go CUBS !! No no Fred. It's much more fun to be an arrogant ass.

Coleman absolutely has to do something in this start. I've just about had my fill of the guy and I think the only reason he's still in there is that the organization doesn't have a better option. He needs to show something here even if it is incremental improvement.

Anyone watching the game on ESPN, it should be perfectly clear that Zambrabo has pitched his last game for the Cubs. Ricketts were in the booth with Valentine and the other guy. They asked him if he could envision a scenario where Zambrano pitches for the Cubs again. His exact answer was "I have a hard time seeing that." If it wasn't obvious already, Zambrano is done with the Cubs. Good riddance.

Saw this un an ESPN article. With Zambrano gone Cashner needs to be a solid contributor to the 2012 rotation. Dempster Garza Cashner Wilson Wells/Struck/FA/Trade

Anyone have any information on what Harmon throws? He's pitching well in Daytona at 22, love the K:BB ratio. Is he another soft-tossing lefty with control or does he have some projection left? -
