    These teams are mirror images of each other in terms of style of play. It's weird to watch. The Wings do a great job of clearing the zone and limiting the pressure the Hawks are usually able to put on. Abdelkader should get an extra minor for causing a fracas after a clean hit.

    It's pretty clear to me that Cutler's problems are a lack of focus and concentration. He's obviously got all the skills. I just think he knows this team sucks, things aren't going his way and his maturity level isn't there to stay focused.

    Yeah CSN was reporting that and the Tribune picked it up. John Mullin reported it had something to do with the possible labor problems in 2011. I don't understand that, but it's obvious the real reason is that the Bears still owe Lovie $11M over two years. They're just too cheap and not committed enough to doing anything but letting the money roll in. It's really that simple.

    During the game, yeah, I can't root against them. But if they're going to lose, when it's over I would hope some good might come out of it. But then, this franchise is run by idiots.

Yeah, I think the majority of the team wants Lovie Smith to return despite what a few players have talked about in the media. Well, lucky for us (I mean, if Lovie's return did hinge on the team's performance the rest of the year), the players giving max effort wouldn't result in wins anyway. Haha, Lovie finally shows some sac and goes for it, and then we get no points. [expletive] you Cutler.

    I can't believe I'm going to watch even a little of this game, but I know I will. Gotta have somebody to be pissed off at. Might as well be Lovie and Turner. Again.

    Notwithstanding the games at hand, I can't believe the Hawks are just 7 points from being out of the playoffs right now. And four teams tied with 47 points. Amazing. I know Detroit is playing well despite all the injuries, and kudos to them and their coaches for that. But finally being ahead of them in the standings, we can finally say (and be correct in doing so) that "Detroit sucks!"

    No, but Brett Wallace gave it a good shot last weekend. He got pulled over with a BAC of .232. You mean David Freese, or did Wallace run afoul of the law too?

    Haha, sounds like he wants to be rid of Mizzou. I'm just sort of bemused by the whole idea. I know we would still have the Border War game, so I don't care as much about that. I just don't know what to think about it.

    seems more likely today than even yesterday. when he's divorced, he can go back to whoring and golfing with no concern for his family. he may double the record. Plus, it will focus him more than ever. He needs this challenge. Anytime he's been challenged, be it by a Rory Sabbatini or injury or his dad's death or whatever, he has come back and made a huge statement each time. And that's exactly what he's going to do. If anything this divorce is good for the rest of us because if I'm him, pretty soon here I just saw screw it, let me get back to playing golf. He tried to take time off and see if he could patch things up with Inga, it didn't work, and now he might as well go back to work.

    WTG Buff. He's been kicking some ass tonight and he didn't take any [expletive] there. Like it. Jackman's pissed. I understand. But there was no reason for any funny stuff after that hit. That said, if it was my team I would hope they wouldn't take that stuff.
