  1. Thus far keeping Sharpie over guys like Buff and Versteeg is making Bowman look like a genius. Pretty excited about Leddy too. And clearly Q is too, given the situations he is putting him in. PK and PP, end-of-game minutes.
  2. I always look forward to the Vancouver games. Going to try and grab some tickets for Friday night's game. Blues are playing well so far, though I don't think they're actually a better team than they were last year. Just off to a hot start. Should be a good game.
  3. Kick his ass, Seabrook. WINNER!
  4. Is there a reason the league really wants OT in this game? There was no penalty there.
  5. These Buffalo announcers are bigger bitches than their players.
  6. I haven't seen this whole game, but this is ticky-tack central at the time the refs should be letting them play. I guess this time it worked in our favor, but still. Stupid.
  7. You gotta be kidding me. Ridiculous.
  8. These Buffalo dudes are pussies. I'm sorry. That was not a vicious hit at all. Not a penalty. Total crap.
  9. Holy Turco!
  10. Hoss is dialed in and won't be missing chances like that.
  11. There was Stalberg's first highlight reel goal as a Hawk. What a skater.
  12. Leddy is looking better and better. He just did some nice work on the PP.
  13. Scott, yes. Other than the game-losing penalty last night, Boynton's been decent. And Hendry's first game was last night and I didn't think he was bad. When 51 and 4 are back, they'll be fine. What I've noticed so far is the 2nd and 3rd lines struggling because Brouwer and Bolland don't seem to be playing with any energy at all. They look like they are skating in quicksand.
  14. I don't think so. It wasn't that bad, regardless of what Ryan Miller had to say. There was a lot of debate today whether it should have been a suspension at all. But if the game gets out of hand, who knows.
  15. Hossa is a man possessed. What a pass to Toews. Wow.
  16. Crawford is playing pretty well so far tonight, but I'm puzzled by him starting too. These defensive pairings are awful.
  17. Yeah, he's bad. But we need at least one enforcer. So who suits up on the blue line tonight? Keith, Seabrook, Leddy, Boynton, Scott, and ???? I guess Hendry? I've lost track of him. Has he been a scratch so far this year or is he hurt?
  18. I'd guess two games. That's what I'm thinking. Pominville doesn't seem too badly hurt, so that should help. It was just an awkward play. The puck never quite got to Pominville, but it was heading to him and it was close. If it happened to one of our guys I'd think it was worth a couple games. I guess.
  19. Did they end up giving the goal to Kopecky? I don't know about that hit. Hammer crushed him. And I guess it was bad. But it's not like he hit him in the head or face. His head just happened to hit the glass. That said, I think it's gonna cost him a couple games. They've really tilted the ice this period. Looks familiar. And the 4th line is flying.
  20. Good to know Corey Crawford still sucks.
  21. The effort just isn't there enough of the time. He's basically a Euro-style pansy version of Buff. Looking forward to watching the Hawks tonight so I don't obsess over the football game for reasons of my fantasy team.
  22. You state injuries as an issue that might keep the Packers from the playoffs yet despite this excuse you want McCarthy canned if he can't lead you to the playoffs? I thought the same thing when I read that, but then he goes on about the playcalling. Perhaps said plays would have been executed properly without the injuries. Who knows. I just hope the Packers lose every game.
  23. If Cutler is back and even plays at 75% of his ability, this should be a 14-point win.
  24. Thank the refs for those questionable PI calls, but I'll take it.
  25. What a great pick by Landry. He was down by contact though.
