  1. Raider Nation is a scary-looking group.
  2. Jon Scott makes Adam Burish look like Wayne Gretzky.
  3. Khabi back in net at the UC tonight. He's sure had a rough go of it since he left Chicago.
  4. I was sure that would be called roughing.
  5. This team is all kinds of ass.
  6. Nice work Marty and Stalberg. Needed a win.
  7. I'm surprised at these Atlanta announcers -- they are actually pretty decent.
  8. They started to dominate for a few minutes there and really should have scored at least one. Pavelec has made some great saves.
  9. I watched most of that Bills/Chiefs game yesterday. It was godawful, and Chan Gailey is an idiot. Fitzpatrick is a gamer but just isn't very good. But Gailey's playcalling cost them that game. They were in FG position to win the game, and Gailey comes out throwing the ball every play. Of course, Fitzgerald threw a pick and the game went to OT. That said, KC played awful too but was able to run all over the Bills D. I hope Martz was watching. I said it before the Seattle game, and we know how that worked out. But as long as the Bears don't completely [expletive] the bed, this is a 10-point win.
  10. That's probably true. But if the injury situation stays like this all year, making the playoffs won't be a given. Especially with teams like St. Louis playing way over their heads.
  11. Yeah where does that dude get the idea that they'll have "plenty of cash?" Everything I've seen and heard suggests there won't be any big expenditures.
  12. I have a hard time being logical about losses for a few days...so I admit, I'm probably overreacting. But still... I'm still livid with our mental midget head coach for not challenging that TD. If you're going to be that stupid, don't be so damn stubborn about it. But I guess that goes along with being that stupid in the first place.
  13. I'm sorry, that was a catch.
  14. Looked like a catch to me. And if so, as I mentioned a few minutes ago, McCarthy will be out of challenges due to that earlier shitty call.
  15. That wasn't even close and the ref was looking right at it. How he can miss it that badly is beyond me. Causes GB to waste a challenge they could need later (if they lost their second).
  16. Boynton is terrible. Both Cullimore and Hendry and hands-down better than he is, and that says way more about him than it does about either of them. I said it last week when they were winning games and I'm saying it now. This team looks very shaky. Too many shots on goal. Not a lot of energy out of the forecheck. Not getting much from anyone outside of Toews, Hossa, Kane and Sharp. That's just not going to cut it. Campbell coming back will help, and once he comes back I think they just need to go with Cullimore and Hendry as the 3rd defensive pairing. Frankly, Jon Scott is useless. Nice try on that signing, Bowman, but he brings nothing to the table. And I don't mind keeping Boynton around in case injuries pop up, but he should be a healthy scratch most nights.
  17. Why not? Certain judgment calls just aren't reviewable. I don't actually know if you can or can't review that, but it seems like the kind of thing they keep unreviewable Are you talking about the Cutler sneak? They didn't rule forward progress was stopped. The side judge ran right along the sideline indicating he just didn't get in. It was reviewable. No, UM thinks you can review to see when forward progress was stopped, not just where. So, hypothetically, even if he hadn't gotten into the endzone, they could rule that he was "down" before he fumbled because his forward progress had been stopped for long enough. Oh I see what you mean. I don't think that's reviewable, but it clearly wasn't the case. The only thing that matters about that play is that the refs made a mistake and Lovie made an even bigger, unforgivable mistake.
  18. I've had what I'll call a Sulley weekend. All my teams lost: Hawks (Black) -- twice; Hawks (Jay); Bears. Add in that Mizzou won, and I've never been so happy to have a weekend come to an end.

  20. I could not believe there was no challenge. It wasn't fathomable that you wouldn't make that challenge. Incompetence is the perfect way to describe it. This is the NFL. They can do better. We deserve better.
  21. We couldn't be so lucky. That's the problem with these stooges. There always seems to be something else for everyone to focus on. This week it will be Cutler, not Lovie's moronic challenge and then lack of that cost this offensively-challenged team 7 points. You challenge that QB sneak, this is a different game.
  22. That should about do it.
  23. He'll break that league record if the D gets a stop here.
  24. Is that Knox's fault too?
  25. They seem to be in no rush, like an FG try is just dandy. But perhaps they should be keeping expectations low.
