  1. Im sure I've never said this before. Scott just made a great defensive play.
  2. I agree with you on Bertuzzi. It's almost painful watching the way he plays now.
  3.
  4. Emery is starting tomorrow night. This situation is getting interesting. A couple games, it was Crawford just getting a break. Now though I think he could actually lose the job.
  5. Jennings getting hurt really stings going into the semis. We start 3 and I had him, Nelson and Branch started. Branch laid a goose egg on me. I have Lance Moore on the bench. So with Jennings out, obviously Nelson starts. I can pick up Driver or Manningham. Which two should start of Branch, Moore, Driver or Manningham?
  6. I like Ben Smith but I thought he was over hyped after having a couple of good games in the playoffs last year. He will be a solid 3rd liner down the road. I wonder if they need Bickell to get some playing time to showcase for a trade? I think we need to get Bickell some playing time because they really need him to contribute. I think you're right about Smith though. He hustled but just seemed to be overmatched in the corners.
  7. I think the Bears beat Oakland easily with Cutler. He's got 2 more years on his deal at a very favorable price. There's probably no need to act fast, but I would strongly suggest they get a deal done by midseason next year. If there's any silver lining to this, it's the fact that any remaining doubts about Cutler's value to this team have been removed. They'll get a deal done. I would bet there are tremendous doubts from the naysayers about a) his durability, b) his desire to play/win, c) his worthiness for a big franchise QB contract. Hell, there were Peyton Manning doubters until well after he won a SB. People will comment about how Cutler has finished back to back seasons injured. Doubting Cutler at this point, given the embarrasing O-line Angelo has given him, would be ridiculous.
  8. The forecheck was tenacious. Shows what they can do when they go 100%, though in fairness I think the second night of back to back games started to show with SJ in the third also.
  9. On a scale of 1-10, my sports day was at a 1 given the Bears game and losing my playoff fantasy matchup, but now its a 3. Well yeah I did advance in both of my leagues. But I still probably put this day at a 4.
  10. It was Clowe, not Hoss. Dude threw punches at three different Hawks. We should get a PP out of this. No I know he didn't instigate it. I'm just saying when he punched Hossa, he exploded for a few seconds (as he should have). Agreed. Well this sets up a showdown (I guess) with MN.
  11. Doesn't redeem this horrible day. But it helps. WTG Sharpie!
  12. Holy [expletive]. No penalties???

  14. Jesus, wtf got into Ryan Clowe?
  15. There's still time to F this.
  16. Complete domination this period. Niemi has just been better.
  17. Niemi. Wow.
  18. Seems like they've been playing with an extra man the entire game. And yet it's only 2-1. And they seem to be picking it up a little.
  19. Oh, I hate Marion Barber much, much, much, much, much more than Tebow. And we come to our common ground.
  20. Yeah they'll be fine. The defense will iron itself out. The bigger concern is the lack of scoring from guys like Frolik and Bickell. When the big guys cool off, we will need them.
  21. You're just being silly now. I don't think so at all. But I will admit to being irrationally angry about this loss.
  22. haha, really? I'd imagine cameras were already on TIM TEBOW like they are on ALL QB's during a game winning (or losing) kick. Watch him walking off after the game. He stops and points to the sky several times. I don't get it. So what? Lots of players do that. You're condemning him because his pointing action is more exaggerated? Because he does it several times, and I think he's doing it to make sure the cameras catch it.
