This is the first trip back to Philly, right? If so, I'll forgive the media for playing it up a little. Now, does that mean the players need to indulge it? Probably not. But if they reel off five straight wins starting tonight, I doubt we'll be talking about this. Just saw the all-star voting results. It has to be about the history and it should be about the history. Right. Obviously the parallel isn't exact, but he's starting to remind me of Z. He talked so much before the season and continues to talk about playing on the right side of that edge. But then he keeps crossing it. Somebody said the honeymoon is over. Pretty much. Wish we had Eager back.

I cannot find Shanahan's video explanation for this suspension. 7 games seems high, I wonder if Carcillo's injury plays into the length? His past history came into play. This is the ninth time where he's been fined or suspended. Yeah I don't think the injury is a factor because the suspension can't start until he is deemed healthy. Though I think that's a funny rule given how mysterious NHL teams can be about injuries. Definitely the past history increased the suspension, probably doubled it.

It seemed pretty obvious CBJ was going after him last night, which is pretty bush league. The league is doing their best here, I think. It's on the players to stop fuckin hurting each other.

I'm interested in this too. There's got to be a good site Canucks read. I can't believe how quickly Stan has this team not only back at the top of the league (with Q's help, of course), but also in a position to add key parts down the stretch.

It's pretty amazing how the switched just flipped with him. I don't think it's necessarily that he is playing harder. He's all of the sudden just getting chances and burying them. Whatever he's doing, Frolik should pay close attention.

I lost by 2.06 points. And I had Romo. I had Lance Moore last night, and he probably would have gotten me those points if he hadn't left the game in the second quarter. I hate fantasy football.

In advance of the big O6 (who was it that gets annoyed by this?) matchup tonight, there's quite a ruckus being raised in Quebec right now because the new coach doesn't speak French. So much so that the GM had to come out and remind everyone that he's the interim coach.
