More like Emery's replacement after someone does the same. Of course, if they follow the Detroit model of not paying goalies then maybe he's his eventual successor. Detroit gave Howard a nice extension. They had no obvious replacement though. We can't afford to give Crow more than $3-4M/year, especially as long as Sharp and Hossa are around.

Clifford took his stick and swung it down on Rozsival's back. That's what drew Toews in. Whatever, we're not innocent in this either, but it's the playoffs. You do what you can get away with. And when you have Dustin Brown as your captain, you have no room to complain.

Can't blame Bernier for trying to draw Crow into doing something dumb there. He's just lucky Emery wasn't playing. A playoff goalie fight would be a little over the top. Were the Detroit-Colorado brawls in the playoffs?
