It's a cliche, but the first ten minutes is going to be huge. If the Hawks come out flying and bury a chance or even two, it will open the game up. If it's scoreless, then yeah it's going to be a slog. As for Babcock, he's clearly a brilliant hockey mind. And I like that when Pierre interviews him on the bench, he offers some insight and pointed comments rather than just stupid coachspeak. That's a guy comfortable in his position. Was surprised to see Oduya was the icetime leader last night for the Hawks with 24 and change. Which is still amazing. A couple of years ago, my memory (which may or may not be good) is that 2 and 7 were playing 30 minutes every playoff game, or at least most. I see Rozsival out there sometimes in crunch time and just think damn, Q trusts this guy more than I do. If we do survive this and move on, Seabrook and Keith should be prepared and able to play heavy minutes going forward.
