    Whoever it's gonna be, I guarantee this - there will be an onslaught of dongs following.

    It's happened a handful of times. Most notably this game. There's a book about Sandy Koufax, written by Jane Leavy. Every other chapter is an inning of his no hitter against the Cubs. Some good comments from Santo, Hundley and others from that team about how well Koufax was pitching that night. It's a great read.

    Why didn't he throw over then? In short, an abundance of caution. There were zero outs, he's already moving towards first, he's left handed so he has to wheel around completely one way or another, basically the same reason every 10 year old is trained to go to 1st in that situation. Based on Wilson's grasp of physics, I'm assuming he was thinking that the ball would have carried Lester to 3B if he had just let it take him. Lol

    A-Rod is starting his 22nd year in the majors. Holy crap. I guess maybe his 21st after sitting out last yr, but still...

    Those are all pretty cool. The best is that the film isn't in the typical fast forward old film. Cy Young looks like a big lanky/angular pitcher. Mel Ott drops his hands way low when swinging.
