  1. Those 2 pass plays by Brady/Evans were awesome.
  2. There were no adjustments by Nagy in the Cleveland game, which was a joke. If there are no adjustments in this game? It would be beyond ridiculous.
  3. Looking for positives…Fields can get first hand live experience from Brady’s QB play?
  4. I doubt a blue line extension is very viable. You need daily ridership, not a one off extension to an entertainment district. There is probably some viable rail projects for intercity urban areas and long distance HSR, but for intermittent medium to low density transit, buses and BRT are probably the best bet. Wasn’t Musk gonna build a tunnel train out to Ohare? He could just keep on digging to AH.
  5. Yadi wanted Oquendo before Shildt was hired
  6. I think the Metra stop is greatly overrated. It checks the box of public transportation but I would be an overwhelming majority of fans will drive Leaving the game on Metra will be an incredible horsefeathers show.
  7. Hendriks will be 33 next year, FWIW
  8. Not sure what they are thinking. Everyone knows they don’t need him and he didn’t show well toward the end. Not sure what leverage they have.
  9. The Red Sox have been under .500 3 of the last 7 years. Far more likely the White Sox are just kind of good and not some juggernaut, sustainable success team since they don’t really have a super star and seemingly are tapped out on spending. Their division gives them a little handicap but they really aren’t all that good or set up all that well. This core hasn’t won a playoff series yet, they might just be perfectly mediocre without the ability to really add. True about the Red Sox recent history, I guess I was thinking the 4 WS championships beginning in 2004.
  10. Then you look at the Astros, Red Sox, Dodgers…who have put it together consistently year after year. White Sox could fall into this category.
  11. Altuve comes up to bat in the top of the 9th with 2 on. The fans are booing him before he steps in the box. He drills the first pitch for a 3 run bomb making it 10-1. Haha
  12. Didn't Walter Payton's ghost block a game winning field goal? I think this one broke a pretty long Packers winning streak over the Bears. yes, this is that game. WP died on Nov 1, 6 days prior Bryan Robinson with the blocked punt?
  13. Totally agree. He can build off of those conversions.
  14. These 2 teams suck
  15. Forecast calls for rain all afternoon. Prediction that Nagy will implement the air attack game plan, once again outsmarting the opposition
  16. Nagy playing chess is moving the "horsey thing in an L" because it's cool to do. The 2nd sentence I don't really agree with. I mean, yeah, he has never really addressed the OL in free agency, but he did use 3 top 75 picks on OL in his first 3 years. He didn't address the position for a couple years after the Daniels pick, but he added 2 of his first 3 picks this year on OL and then brought in a HOF LT (granted, well past his prime) when those guys got injured. The DL has been really good so far though, and Mack has looked amazing the last 2 weeks, especially. Edit: now that I think about it, the knight's motion kinda resembles a curl route. 3 spaces out, then turn and sit there. I guess the picks haven’t worked out well. That’s on Pace. Drafting the tackle (can’t think of his name) with known back problems who then proceeds to have surgery and sit out the year hurts. Boren got hurt in game 1. I think Mustipher was an UDFA who needs to develop. Hopefully Daniels can get back to form. Peters is past his prime but praying he’s got some gas left. Ifedi…I really don’t know if there’s an upside
  17. Nagy dicks around and thinks he’s playing chess, meanwhile every other coach in the league laugh at his antics playing checkers. The game is won in the trenches - and unfortunately, Pace has failed to address the OL for multiple years. The DL is…OK. Mack is getting old and won’t return to form.
  18. Spank Frank with another multi hit game
  19. Northwestern announced a new stadium just earlier this week, so they aren’t a potential suitor for SF.
  20. Yeah, that deal the city of Chicago made with the Fire is going to be sooo lucrative
  21. Yeah, yesterday was pretty bad. It's hard to even say that Fields would have been better yesterday had he had time with the 1s before last week or if he got a legit chance to compete for the job in camp. But it couldn't have been any worse. Mark me down in the (apparently) unpopular camp of wanting Dalton/Foles until Nagy is gone. Nagy will ruin Fields, I have no doubts about it. Totally agree. It’s way too complicated to learn the offense coupled with a bad OL - and he’s gonna get killed.
  22. I'm not here to form opinions on Fields right now because it's way too early. But I don't get why Bears fans are acting like Fields is some sure thing. As long as Nagy is involved (he needs to be fired), Fields doesn’t have a chance. Assuming Nagy is fired, I’m not confident in the Bears brass about finding a solid HC. As a Bears fan, of course I want to see Fields succeed and surpass all expectations - but, I feel it’s unlikely.
  23. Welcome to the NFL, Justin
  24. Here I’ll say it…he doesn’t look good. Totally overwhelmed He’s making a lot of mistakes as much as everything else is a disaster Drinking water through a firehose
  25. Here I’ll say it…he doesn’t look good. Totally overwhelmed
