    If you can get past the title, Jocks and Socks is a good read. It was written by a former Brewer clubhouse attendant and it has a lot of good stories. And of course, read Cubs Nation by Gene Wojciechowski

    I guess I am more surprised that they are going to go with Counsell and Graffanino as neither are really hitting the ball all that well also. Graffanino is a favorite of Ned Yosts though so who knows

    he's young and he throws hard, if the price is right, why not? I watched him about a month ago when they played the Brewers in Milwaukee. He fits that power pitcher mold that Lou has said to be fond of. Didnt he basically leave the team for a month during spring training? or was that last year?

    Yeah DFA Ohman when the completely unuseable Scott Eyre is still on the bench. Wonderful idea. And let's pin all the blame on Ohman after the wonderful job that Theriot, Pie and Fontenot did of not knocking in a single run when the cubs had a bases loaded, no out situation in the 8th. The team gave up 5 runs in 13 innings, that's not terrible at all. As usual the offense was a steaming pile of crap and didn't put runs on the board (basically, two runs per nine innings against average pitching). But yeah, it's all Ohman's fault.

    Under the who's not hot section at Chicagosports.com: Jacque Jones is hitting .190 (20-for-105) since May 1 with two home runs and eight extra-base hits.

    Cubs win 7-4..despite Hardy hitting 2 homers. Lilly settles in and gives 6 strong innings.... The Brewers are really pushing this series as "Take Back Miller Park from the Cubs Fans".

    I dont post on here much at all but this one caught my eye. Scott Eyre has got to go. he's a lefty pitcher who cant get lefty hitters out. Plus he's a jerk. (met him at the meet the team, have a ball event last year at wrigley and he was a pompous ass who said told me and a few other fans that he hated "these types of events"). Trade him, send him to the minors do something. why wasnt Cotts brought in during that situation?

    Just unbelieveable..... You gotta wonder if the PR department has a template drawn up where they just change the dates for his injuries.

    That doesnt work for me. I have two open but when I try to open more it directs me back to one that I have open telling me to wait for it to refresh _________________ Thats odd, the control - N work around seems to be disabled but the filed new window should work. Are you on a personal PC or a network? That may have something to do with it. sorry!

    I got lucky this morning and got the few series i wanted, cards, tigers, astros. just hit file, new and window on your internet explorer and open up 20 or so windows. I know someone posted that earlier, but it may have been lost in the strings

    Wasn't that a huge issue for Bradley though in LA, that he would only play CF? He has a ton of talent but a little on the crazy side for me! I'd rather see Pierre (and his rag arm) in CF this year! Dream scenario: Pierre Furcal Lee Aram Abreu Walker or Cedeno Barrett Murton

    I'm new so go easy on me! That same website states Abreu for Gibbons and Bedard? You can't tell me that is the best offer out there for Abreu....why not a deal with Patterson/Rich Hill for Abreu? Also, is david kelton just a career triple A player now?
