    Pretty sure the defense deserves more blame than basically "well, Aaron Rodgers is just too great." The Packers, and Rodgers specifically, have looked VERY vulnerable dating back to last season and the Bears singlehandedly allowed them to look like worldbeaters again.

    In general or specifically for the Cubs? I didn't think there'd be much besides a couple of pitcher signings and some scattered filler (if that's even necessary); I'd like to see them pull of a big trade but I'm not holding my breath.

    seriously. first time i can say that i was left wanting more since 08 or 09. Wow, this feels much more like a merciful ending to me. I'm always sad when baseball ends, but this team seemed pretty burnt out by the end. Soler, Rizzo, Arrieta and Hendricks were like the only ones worth watching most of the time.

    Well, yeah; you call a sloppy joe a "sloppy joe" like you call a hot dog a "hot dog;" they're their own entities. Now a pulled pork sandwich runs into breakfast sandwich territory, where the term "sandwich" is being used despite key non-sandwich structural components.

    I dunno; a bun is a bun and sliced bread is sliced bread even if it's end pieces. It just seems different enough. Of course, you throw some eggs and cheese and meat on a couple of bagels and it's a breakfast sandwich, so yeah, they're all just sandwiches in the end. Saying a hamburger is a sandwich just feels like some steamed hams-type nonsense.

    I think putting it on a bun changes things up. Calling a slab of chicken on a bun a "chicken sandwich" seems off; that thing is a chickenburger. A sandwich needs to be slices of bread.

    They mix it up even more by serving what are basically hot dog-sized pigs in a blanket in the boulangeries. Sooooooo good, but they have even less bread openings than a hot dog.
