  1. This is Mojo's doesn't tip on a haircut. It's on the sandwich "tree," or however you want to put it, but it's different enough in terms of expectations and construction to be it's own thing, just like a hot dog.
  2. Never heard that before.
  3. http://static4.therichestimages.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/06/hotdogs-anim.gif
  4. Nobody likes fun anymore.
  5. Taco Bell is not the end-all-be-all of tacos and burritos, my friend. Everything that can be in a taco can be in a burrito, and vice-versa.
  6. A sub with tuna on it.
  7. Sandwiches and subs are very similar foods, but are ultimately their own things. If you promise a group of people subs and then present them with a bunch of sandwiches they will rightly be perplexed and frustrated as to why you are playing cruel food games with them. On the flipside, if you promise people sandwiches and bring them subs, they will be pleasantly surprised (because subs are inherently superior). Either way, people's perceptions are very, very different with these types of foods despite their many similarities. Maybe the answer is looking at something like linguine vs. udon. Both are noodles, yet both are not pasta.
  8. and yet, they are both drinks And yet, everything we're talking about is food. Come on, David.
  9. I'm going to go make a berry smoothie right now. I would not, however, like a berry Slurpee-type concoction.
  10. If I get a craving for a sub it's different than if I get a craving for a sandwich. Like if I really want a tuna sub and ultimately all I end up with is tuna sandwich I'm gonna be disappointed.
  11. these are two different things. a burrito isn't a type of taco nor is a taco a type of burrito. a pancake isn't a type of waffle and a waffle isn't a type of pancake. they're just similar foods. They're the same things. They just vary in size and/or preparation, but the necessary ingredients are the same. But then we perceive them as different foods. Because they just are. http://img.pandawhale.com/89952-master-strokes-beard-gif-Kill-bdei.gif
  12. It's just a sub. You can construct subs in key ways that you simply can't do with a sandwich. Why does this bother you so much?
  13. And whither the soft shell taco vs. the burrito?
  14. And remember, we're waiting for some commentary on pancakes/waffles/waffles/pancakes. Because based on how me saying a sub is a sub...effects you this should REALLY get some literal gears turning.
  15. I've not once mentioned Wonder Bread. And nobody has brought up insanity until now. When exactly did this break you?
  16. Look at it this way: Is a pancake a waffle? Is a waffle a pancake?
  17. It's a sandwich cousin, but it's its own thing. That really shouldn't be THAT mind-blowing.
  18. Which is horrifyingly wrong on just about every possibly level.
  19. You ever tried to deny a 60-pound autistic kid his videos? I don't care if everything else in life falls apart, the internet is always there. derwood can watch whatever he wants http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-TY3nIdBXA_Y/UYv-pZtP8iI/AAAAAAAALvk/KJyT4Xn6Yms/s1600/Key-and-Peele.gif
  20. I would call you fancypants for making your own bread and then sadly go eat a lonely sandwich made with pre-sliced bread.
  21. This makes no sense. A McRib sandwich is just a McRib. A sub sandwich is just a sub. An Italian beef sandwich is just an Italian Beef. But a Patty Melt. No, that's a Patty Melt Sandwich. Deeply flawed sandwich; it ultimately gets to be a sandwich because it is on evenly sliced bread, but that key component is also its flaw as the bread cannot structurally support the whole thing. WTF "evenly sliced"? nonsense Man, don't get mad at me because your mom apparently always bought reject loafs of sliced bread.
  22. The other three aren't sandwiches because of what type of bread they have/need.
  23. not even frisco melts? Never had one, but I will try anything at least once.
  24. Man, I do not like patty melts; way too greasy. My stomach will be doing somersaults afterwards every time. But yeah, I'd say they were sandwiches. Deeply flawed sandwiches that shouldn't exist, but yeah, sandwiches.
  25. I'd like to think they did that as reassurance, since hot dogs or hamburgers on sliced bread are indeed legitimate reasons for school uprisings.
