Yeah, but even the people who turn the feature off can still have them. Do it for the rest of that aren't running off an Amiga. -
Alright, I know some of you choades inexplicably have these features switched off, but even more inexplicably actually have sig pics and avatars despite switching them off. I'm sick of looking at the same ones over and over again; turn it on for a [expletive] minute or two and update them. Some of you only have dead links and X's and no hotlinking messages, for God's sake. And really, just leave them on. I can't imagine the torture of trying to differentiate a Derwood from a TruffleShuffle from their posts alone.

FWIW I just gave him a heart. Also, totally forgot about A New Era. Aesthetically speaking, his sig may be the worst thing in the history of the world. I thought he was banned, but apparently he logged in a little over a month ago; I love that his last posts are threatening to kick imb's ass for making a fake Castro traded to the Braves thread. I seem to recall his previous sig being about how Piniella was bringing "a new era" to the Cubs.

I love that the only relevant result when searching for "Cliff Floyd pirates parrot" on Google brings back an old NSBB thread: viewtopic.php?f=2&t=40432 The guy that posted it to YouTube got banned from YT for his heroism.

It wasn't a big moment or anything, but it's one of my favorite all time as a Cubs fan. I wish the clip was online because Len & Bob cracking up over the parrot on the replay was fantastic.

It's always struck me as a little odd when people talk about their WS fantasy they seem to typically describe the Cubs winning it in game 7, usually dramatically. Personally, I want that huge win streak; just cruise to winning it all with a minimum of drama.

i hope that whenever we win it, he actually feels comfortable showing his face and having some sort of cool moment because the whole thing is awful. Bring him back after they win it. I don't trust Cubs/sports fans enough to not be awful to him if they bring him back for a playoff game or something and then they end up losing. Bring him back where? He's living a normal life, just doesn't feed into media(and other) morons. I just feel like he got so much [expletive] and had to be so miserable that it would be nice for him to have a cool moment of some kind. It's meatbally, I guess. It was just so stupid that he had to endure what he did. I had also heard that (maybe it was that ridiculous Wayne Drehs article years ago) he hadn't gone to a game since. Who know if that still is (or ever was) true. That just blows, though. Yeah, I just think it would be cool since he got such a raw deal. Of course he doesn't have to do it, and they have to do it, but it would be a nice gesture.

He probably doesn't want to be brought anywhere. Think of it like that sacrifice scene from Temple of Doom.

Especially when it's outside and 95F and the bride insists on an hour ceremony In a church without air conditioning A wedding I went to in North Carolina this summer expressly said on the invitation that people could wear whatever they wanted (at a business/church casual-level) and still most of the suckers showed up completely dressed up to the nines and sweating their bits off in an un-air conditioned church. Madness. What part of NC? I was in an August wedding a few years back. In a wool tux. In August. Outside. I literally had to continuously wipe my face sweat throughout the entire wedding so it didn't drip off my face. Outer Banks. It was sticky.

I figure I owe this place a little something. Make it rain, ya filthy animals. Though I do have to say, there's no Ad Block when I'm at work, and it's a bit odd that while I'm at my federal job with a security clearance most of the banners that pop up are for Arab, Russian or Chinese dating sites. Thanks a ton, Google.

I'm definitely going to be working for this and the first series. Thankfully, they fixed our cable at work so I'll be able to have the games on multiple screens.
