  1. Do they also use those stupid towels in the playoffs or is that only a Steelers thing?
  2. Also: Eddie probably wishes they were at Wri-guh-lee Field.
  3. That awkward moment when people thrust together by outside circumstances realize they have absolutely nothing to say to each other.
  4. I'm at the crazy bargaining stage: I'm a lazy jerk who stops way too often at the McDonald's right on the way to work. If the Cubs win this game I will never, ever eat McDonald's again.
  5. Meh; everyone at the Network has been slobbering over Arrieta that he either was chosen or decided to be the one guy who locked on to Cole. He's been doing it for almost a couple of weeks now. So, Plesac is taking the hipster approach then? Sort of like a 22 year old with student loans wearing a Trump trucker hat? That, or he just wants people to pay attention to him.

  7. Outside of August he's been damn good this season. When did I say he wasn't good? Well, saying he's not likely to be used outside of some crazy outlier of a game seems to be implying he's not bringing much value. The playoff rotation only being Arrieta/Lester/Pitching smorgasbord doesn't seem too realistic. lmfao Not that it'll really help, but I've had both my dad and a friend of mine adamantly declare in the last week that Hendricks and Hammel should have no part of the post-season, so that definitely was on my mind. This was the same friend who was convinced that the Cubs were doomed after they got rid of Barney because he was the "true leader" of the team.
  8. That lean really should be in all montages ever.
  9. Trick her and tell her there's dancing at baseball games: http://ak-hdl.buzzfed.com/static/enhanced/webdr01/2013/6/3/10/anigif_enhanced-buzz-27321-1370271213-21.gif
  10. There's been so many; you'll have to specify.

  12. Love that they included Polanco falling down and going boom.
  13. Bah, I thought he was slamming the idea of using Hendricks at all. I'm too anxious and I want to pick terrible message board fights.
  14. I didn't know the magician was ACTUALLY magic, because I don't know where a better pitcher is coming from otherwise.

  17. My uncle is a diehard Pirates/all things Pittsburgh fan and he sent me a text last night basically congratulating the Cubs for winning already and complaining about how "knew the Pirates were toast for weeks now." I am completely baffled as to what he saw that made him give up on one of the best teams in baseball, but hey, I'll take it.
  18. http://i.giphy.com/SJ7hatK4aFI1W.gif Complimenting the opposing team's city and fans? Being super positive? Who the [expletive] is this and what have you done with rawdog?
  19. Second response in the comment section:
  20. You guys need to quit being scaredy ass bitches. You'll feel so [expletive] good when the Cubs win the play in game. It's not being scared, it's anticipation, anxiousness, being excited etc. or as Pat Hughes called it today "game stomach" Yeah, it's like a million emotions just going nuts at the same time.

  22. Addison in that pic with Rizzo is giving a preview of what I'll be like after they win tomorrow night. But reduced to scale.
  23. I still maintain that Coghlan's fWAR is the best argument right now that defensive metrics are still basically some unholy combination of alchemy and voodoo and not to be trusted.
