  1. Though just imagine how even more tiny the face of Fat Rizzo would be.
  2. Extending Rizzo would be emotionally satisfying, but he is totally a primo candidate of coming down with a severe case of Inner Fat Dude Just Waiting to Hulk out, But Like a Fat Hulk-itis.
  3. The Cubs letting Maddux walk was my first true heartbreak as a Cubs fan. After a horsefeathering Cy Young year, no less. I couldn't even process it when my dad said he had signed with the Braves; beyond me being an idiot kid, it just didn't make any kind of sense on any level.
  4. Charles is demonstrably convinced Bryant will not be traded.
  5. When even the THEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO guy has turned on you, you know you've done fucked up.
  6. I keep thinking the Ricketts just have "TWO MORE YEARS" posted as a mantra all over their offices. Everything seems to either come to a head or end in two years, and I'll bet that's their time frame for letting things go to horsefeathers so they can save some bucks/move money around for their bull horsefeathers (especially since there's likely going to be an inevitable work stoppage in 2 years, too).
  7. I just figured that was the standard; the mobile version has randomly logged me off as far back as I can remember. Or I just can't take a hint.
  8. Bringing back greenies is the new market inefficiency.
  9. Because they've managed to botch this at every possible turn, so why stop now?
  10. It's certainly not good.
  11. Well, that was certainly a response.
  12. I mean, it's not some great mystery what the issue has been with Quintana when he's off: he gives up too many dongs, especially over the last 3 seasons. That's really the only problem; he's been pretty much the same consistent pitcher otherwise. It's unfortunate that he's pitching in the juiced ball environment, because it really exacerbated his one big flaw as a pitcher.
  13. Man, Fangraphs shows him generally being a LOT more valuable than I would have assumed. I figured he was Marquis-levels of butt (though even he had a 3.2 fWAR season, WTF).
  14. GRAPHIC DESIGN IS MY PASSION: the team
  15. I think it's more likely that they were too dumb to pull off what they they were trying to do without getting caught. Like, it's so hilariously high and low tech at the same time. There's no way they HAD to use a monstroso monitor or TV for this. Better yet, why don't you just have another feed of whatever else hooked up to it (Netflix, ESPN, whatever) that you can flip it to whenever there's not cheating going on? It's like these nerds have never been almost busted looking at something on their computers they shouldn't be before. STEP IT UP, DORKS.

There's no way they HAD to use a monstroso monitor or TV for this. Yeah that too. Smart enough to be able to decipher the signs, but too dumb (or arrogant) to carry it out in a way that was smart/hidden. "We're going to set up an elaborate camera relay to steal signs, and then execute it via whacking a trash can and hanging up a horsefeathering towel and hope that one intern doesn't trip and drop the monitor!"
  17. Was that another organ exploding?
  18. I’m not overly tech savvy, but maybe it was easier to get the video to a TV vs laptop off the camera they had set up? It looks like the TV was hard wired (wires hanging down from the ceiling) vs having to use WiFi or something from the camera to a laptop. Also maybe they felt they needed a bigger screen to get a better look at the catcher signals vs like a 12” laptop screen? I think it's more likely that they were too dumb to pull off what they they were trying to do without getting caught. Like, it's so hilariously high and low tech at the same time. There's no way they HAD to use a monstroso monitor or TV for this.
  19. Yeah, but this was the Jets.
  20. Why would you have some nerd hauling basically a big ass TV around instead of just using a damn laptop?
  21. In a clash of last place titans.
