I have infrequently seen that myself, if you refresh or hard refresh(CMD+Shift+R on Mac, Ctrl+Shift+F5 on Windows) the image sometimes shows up. I use uBlock and Privacy Badger and I assume they're the ultimate culprit haven't been able to pinpoint exactly what causes it. Hmmm, now I'm thinking it's uBlock since I use that as well. I was messing around with ScriptBlock and HTTPS Everywhere because I figured it was one those. Nope; just disabled uBlock for NSBB and reloaded several pages and still seeing the same thing for most Giphy gifs (though, oddly, the "glad to see me" one I just posted has worked fine the whole time). http://static.celebuzz.com/uploads/2015/05/Mad-Men-Bobby-Sad-Movies.gif

Try changing "media" in the url to "i" I noticed one with "i" that I posted showed up fine. And I changed a "media" one to it and it showed up fine. Nah; that didn't work, and even if I use the short link I tend to get the same thing from Giphy. It appears to only be on our ends; I have been able to see all of yours fine, and it seems like everyone can see the ones of mine that I can't. And this only happens with Giphy links.
