The Pirates' announcers always sound so bored and sad. Like a couple of dorky schlubs hanging out in an almost empty neighborhood bar right before closing who don't realize they're on TV. -
Yeah, unlike these slob Cubs, only winning 7 in a row. What a bunch of gutless chocking dogs! They just don't care enough.

I assumed we'd be going in up 3.5 at least. Going in up 2.5, we really need to take 3 of 4. A split is OK but anything worse and I'll be worried. The Brewers are not good, im ready to sweep them away. You folks keep saying the Brewers are not good. They are playing great baseball right now, when it counts. What else matters? There's not 3 months of long term trending left to consider. If they play like this for another 10 games or so they are probably in the playoffs, either by a wild card or divisional championship.

The Brewers are not good, im ready to sweep them away. would think we will have 50% cubs fans in the park so that cant hurt...although we had 99% cubs fans in our own park and got swept so really anything is in play...at least we avoid lester throwing

who the hell are you? The entire game thread is clogged with useless gifs its really distracting Weis21 is the man and accurately predicted multiple comebacks earlier this season. But I also agree with you and will be happy about the GIFs coming to an end, although it would have technically been great to have it go through late October.

lose 3 of 4 and its a .5 lead with a week to go...i get the .5 lead but thats as thin as it gets Yeah like I said it's nervous. The horsefeathers thing is Lester will start the game after that series while the Brewers are off. So could easily make us tied with 6 to go. At that point our schedules are identical, 3 at home against the Reds and 3 on the road in St Louis. If we lose 3 of 4 and if we can't win on Monday against the Cardinals and if we can't outplay the Brewers over a 6 game schedule that is identical then whatever we clearly we're not as good as we thought. But that's a crapload of Ifs Holy hell, what is wrong with you.
